Thanks for the helpful response. I was just being safe rather than sorry. I haven't played my Wii in the longest time. I'm just selling it because I don't play it anymore and I desperately need the money. Only thing I was sorta looking forward to was Tales of Symphonia 2. I think if I wait any longer I'll want to keep it, so I should just sell it while my mind is set on it.

So i'm selling my Wii. I was wondering if there's any sensitive data on it that I would need to delete? As far as I remember it doesn't remember your credit card info or anything. Anyone think of anything i should do before selling?

The parts with Batman were my least favorite. The joker was so so good.

I'm super excited now for MM9. I first thought it was like a gimmick but the way they are doing seems to suggest greatness. How they treat it like a long lost megaman NES title. I figured at first it would look 8 bit but be pussy-fied but it seems they are developing this with the right crowd in mind.

I can't wait for this to come out on Bluray. on Tuesday i had watched the first 6 minutes of TDK on bluray because it comes with Batman Begins. It looks really amazing that when i first say the opening of the city in the movie I was like "yuck!". Though i suppose i could go see it in IMAX next.

So I'm been having trouble when the girlfriend sleeps over, she can't sleep without TV or something and I can't sleep at all with the TV on. So music is a good compromise and I need some recommendations for soft mixes that you might be able to sleep to. The first night we listened to Air, but not quite chill enough apparently. So i need your help, please recommend some soothing sleepable remixes. For that matter any type of music you guys can sleep to?

I think it's going to be a good movie. I tend to have low expectations for films. There's massive amounts of hype and I'm definitely excited to see it, already have midnight tickets and IMAX tickets the next day. I just can't believe this Oscar buzz for heath ledger. Comic book movies don't really win Oscars but maybe that can change but hopefully only if comic book movies are taken to a new level.

I'll buy it when it comes out, but like a few have said I refuse to buy a game I have no interest in to play it. When is the official release? I imagine how the xbox certification is nobody really knows.

I'll have to disagree with you there. What about "the best is yet to come"? GHW did do the the theme well in MGS2 though. The clasic MGS theme is in the original (unless i'm completely retarded). There are a couple versions, the one from E3 in Atlanta is my fav. I'm having trouble remembering where it played in game, so maybe it was just used in demo's and commercials and such.

I just get really bored with it and I don't know why because I do like the music but I'd really listen to other stuff while MMO'ing. The sound effects get on my nerves in some of the zones. Like it's atmospheric but sometimes you'll hear werewolves and nothing is even around you.

Not all games require installation (that i know of). Devil May Cry 4 has about a 25 minute install on ps3. The MGS4 installs 3 times (i think) but probably not more than 20 minutes total. Folklore has an optional install. GTA4 on ps3 has an install (not sure how long). It just helps developers keep load times down I imagine. Keep in mind that Ps3 hard drives are easily replaceable with larger drives. You just need to buy a standard SATA300 ( i think) laptop HD, own a portable external HDD to copy the ps3 OS and stuff onto, then put in the new drive and copy the stuff back. I haven't done this personally but my friend is going to do it, and I'll probably get a bigger drive after I'm more familiar with the process.

Also, the 40 gig can play psone games but not Ps2 Games. I'm fairly sure anyhow.

So i picked mine up from Gamestop this morning, the guy was like "bundle right?" and i was like "nope just S.E." He didn't understand why i would wait for them to open for just a game apparently. I could have nabbed one of the 2 80 gig bundles. Slight SPOILERS from mgs2 and 3. I don't understand something about Snakes character. Maybe it's just the fact that it's a game series and it was bent to fit game play but in MGS2 Snake says something like "I never use a blade" to Raiden when he tosses him the sword. So why the hell does snake always use a knife now? Why does he suddenly know CQC? i suppose it's natural from a game perspective. why take a step backward in game play? Just because Big boss knew CQC doesn't mean shit, because Snake never really got to know Big boss. I suppose he did fight him, in MG1 or 2, whichever. THERE BE SPOILERS AHEAD. ARRR! So i finished the first Act or whatever. All the shit from the trailers is right at the beginning, no suprises during the first act, at least to me. old Snake is OLD.

The prairie dog thing irked me the most. it's not like prairie dogs have agents. The CGI prairie dog didn't do anything a real one couldn't do.

So I've had this hard drive for about a month. It's partitioned into 2 pieces. 50 gigs for windows © and the rest is just storage (D). Last night i noticed that about half my stuff on the D drive was missing, music movies stuff like that. I did a check disk scan, Right click the drive, under tools or whatever. Then today i wakeup and everything on that drive is gone yet 350/416 gigs free but when i click on the drive there are no folders or anything on it. So i figured i would just suck it up and reformat everything. What scares me is that this could happen again in the future. That it's not a user error and the HDD is defective. I can't return the drive to newegg because it's passed 30 days. What do you suggest I do?

This is in no way help but I find it strange that we both seem to be having problems with our WD HDD's. It's the Caviar SE WD5000AAJS 500GB. Suddenly about 400 gigs of my stuff is missing. It still works though I suppose, just at a loss a what I should do.

Yea, me too. I think Sessler is the only person left. On the internet it's easy to find people that remember old techtv/zdtv although in actual life i don't know anyone. It seems I'm like the only person who remembers gamespot TV and even extended play. Remember that gadget review show that had Sumi Das and Jim Louderback (new digg ceo)? It seems like these days Techtv pretty much lives on via podcasting. Kevin rose and alex albrecht on Diggnation. Patrick Norton on Tekzilla/This week in tech (sometimes). Leo Leporte still has his radio show plus TwiT. That photoshop guy that was always on TSS has his own revision 3 show called pixel perfect. Martin seargeant has internet superstar and morgan webb has WebbAlert.

I say Meteos or Planet Puzzle league. Maybe Disney Meteos if she's into that sorta thing.

Initially i would have chosen Shoryuken but everyone has made such valid points. In the end I would go with Hadouken.

I've been watching Naruto since episode 2. I've stuck with it for the most part, didn't watch most of the filler after 130 though. I follow the manga week to week but i usually only watch the fight scenes (in anime). My expectations for the manga are absurdly low nowadays but occasionally it hits some high notes.
