I've used Ken since the SNES days. I'm trying to get used to Gouken and a few other characters. I'm quite decent with Ken but otherwise I'm not even a fraction of as useful. Ken's really easy to use, simple to understand, I think that's why people pick him. Online it's kind of a toss up but against the CPU I can't beat anyone without Ken (I'm working on the challenges.)

I'm on ps3 as well tragick is the name. I find that network mode is best played with the Arcade mode online aware thing that I'm sure most people turned off immediately and forgot about it (Hey, I did at first!). Doing ranked matches and then having to pick a session all while competing with other players to even get a game is tedious. When you're playing arcade mode the offline is more like a lobby and you keep getting matches almost consistently. It beats staring at a menu.

I'm only good with Ken mostly. I feel like I'm falling into the "oh not another ken" thing online but he's my favorite character and I don't pick him for any other reason. Zangief+lariat spam online is horrible. I just have been cluster fucked every time against it. What does one do besides Hadouken it?

I was a couple of episodes behind but caught up last night on ABC.com. I always wondered why LOST wasn't on Hulu but it works the same if not better on ABC's website. Anyways I work on Wednesday nights so I'll probably miss tonight's episode. The last few episodes were great I thought.

There's been numerous "final" and "review" builds for Killzone 2 but the final retail copy is still supposed to be different. A reviewer at IGN claimed to have beat the game like 7 times albeit on different builds. Reviews started coming out as early as a month beforehand. I agree with you it is odd but I think it's Sony trying to drum up some extra press for the game, a similar thing happened with God of War 2.

I'm enjoying it so far. Got it on ps3 and playing with a DS3, never was too much for arcade sticks but the Mad Catz fightpads seem nice. I unlocked all the characters and played for a few hours with my friends. Game clock at 15 hours now. Ryu seems better now but I'll always stick with Ken. Anybody know how to cancel out of an EX super and into an ultra? I know you can do it, I might have even done it. People say to do a Focus attack during an Exsuper and then input the ultra but it's not working out for me. PS trying that with Ken.

I was playing the killzone 2 demo today (from the european psn store) and it looks to be an excellent game. Also Street Fighter 4 comes out soon if you don't have a means to play that yet.

I'm on Windows Vista (64 bit) and I need to find some software that allows me to convert MKV to Avi's that is free or easily attainable. I've tried googling and nothing seems to work for free. It's either spyware/virus, only converts half the file, or implements a watermark or something silly. I'm trying to burn a few movies for a friend who needs to watch them for film school. They're mostly already in AVI format and I've found a program to burn them from Avi's but it only has a limited number of uses. Does anyone know of any DVD burning software that's compatible with 64 bit Vista? Help is much appreciated!

Look on the upside, you could probably sell it for the price you paid for it. That's what I did about 2 months ago. Had the system since launch and sold it on craigslist for $250. The only game I thought I was missing was Tales of Symphonia but I guess not.

My interest in LBP has pretty much hit a wall. I played through most of the single player (before the servers went up, had an early copy). Since then I've done a lot of user submitted levels and while they are pretty complex and a fun waste of time they are mostly just gimmicks. I've yet to play an amazing platform level. The music levels are amazing technically but there's very little game play involved. I haven't tried making my own level yet but I'm assuming that's where the fun will kick in (i hope).

I'm helping a friend with a project. We're doing a powerpoint presentation about the russian revolution. tsarr nicholas II and all that stuff. I need some music for it and I'm not sure where to look. Authentic russian music isn't everywhere apparently. I'm not sure what format it needs to be in either. So can somebody please help me out?

I don't normally replay games a lot. I beat MGS about 10 times probably but i don't regularly return to it. I think i'm growing out of replaying games and I'll relate it to the MGS series. I played the hell out of 1 and unlocked everything. I beat 2 about 4 times probably, I didn't unlock everything but it was maybe half. MGS3 I only beat once and MGS4 I barely beat once. I just don't have it in me anymore. On 3 and 4 I didn't unlock anything extra, I even stopped caring about being seen. I'm just a lazy gamer these days.

I still have it on the gamecube. I got stuck on some dungeon where your party was split up and you had to work together to open doors. There was a similar dungeon in Lost Odyssey actually. The random encounters are far too frequent for my tastes and I don't normally mind random battles.

This new demo was mentioned on Penny Arcade today so I'm sure they're going to get a lot of exposure. Does anyone have the lyrics for this demo? specficially the part at 5:04 "sometimes i just want to drive the streets ????? I want to burn until there's nothing left to burn ????" That's sorta what i hear but I can't make it out for sure.

I finally beat this tonight for the first time and was a little disappointed. I thought all the parts with Raiden were the best and his story was actually more interesting this time around. It could be because he's not a feeble old man though.
