  1. Sonic Rush had awesome music.
  2. Well, no. This campaign is mainly for fun. To be honest, the only thing we're really trying to to is get noticed and generate interest so that maybe Sega will take notice and say "ha! these guys are pretty good! and they got balls!". It's a fun way to make people aware of OCR and Sonic music. The chances of us actually doing the music for Sonic 4 Episode 1 are slim-to-none, but that doesn't mean we can't have fun drumming up support.
  3. Come on people lets see those graphics!
  4. So, it's started out as a harmless little comment on Twitter. Then it got picked up by a gaming blog. Now it's a full blown movement. OverClocked ReMix wants to do the music for Sonic the Hedgehog 4. If you've got Twitter, click here: http://bit.ly/ocr4sonic4 We need you guys to pimp out OCR's sonic remixes on Twitter, using the hashtag #ocr4sonic4. We need logos, and graphics, and anything else you can draw: OCR-tan and Sonic hanging out; Sonic wearing the OCR headphones; anything you can think of! Pimp it out on your radio shows, tell your friends, spread the word! Post on Facebook, MySpace, MyFace, SpaceBook, whatever! Just get the word out! And to any of you naysayers: even if nothing comes of it, it never hurts to try. After all, who would have thought 5 years ago that OCR would be doing the music for a Street Fighter game? But that happened, and it was great. So let's see if we can make this happen too. EDIT: There seems to be some confusion as to what we're trying to do here! If Sega gives us a Sonic 4 gig, we're not going to be doing remixes! Our intention would be to do an ORIGINAL soundtrack.
  5. Speak in the 1st person, please.
  6. Fantastic, though the moratorium on that joke is still in effect when I am present. >
  7. I don't think there's a clean way to rip audio from PSP games. :\
  8. Yes, but is it REALLY Bruce?

  9. Still waiting for Cerrax's mix. Got a message that his cable/internet went out because of the snowstorm.
  10. I'll get everything up tomorrow. Too sick and too tired and too lazy to do it right now.
  11. First and second rule of Fight Club.
  12. I have Willrock's round 3 mix.

You ought to arrange this song for woodwind quintet. I think it's right up your alley.

  14. Make sure you keep in constant contact with us about this. Don't let this fall by the wayside.
  15. Mixes are up! Sorry for the delay. GO VOTE.
  16. Hey atmuh, how about instead of saying passive aggressive shit like "why is such-and-such map still on the server?" you actually try to be polite and give an opinion without sounding like an asshole? Pretty much everything you say about OCRTF2 is a complaint framed as "I don't know why you didn't do this yet but" or "Why haven't you changed this yet?" Knock it off. Furthermore, Panic is on the map rotation because people like it. The server doesn't empty out right away all the time and people don't always RTV off of it. People like it and people play it.
  17. I'm a bad person who watched Kamen Rider Den-O instead of posting up the mixes. Someone hit me on IRC tonight and I'll throw up the tracks.
  18. Arcana, they're gameshows. There are contestants competing for a prize. The contestants are just persistent and turned into characters.
  19. Remember when reality shows were called gameshows? Yeah.
  20. I hope you realize I was only saying what some people believe. And there's no "maybe" about it. That kind of ignorance is dangerous.
  21. They don't want the sex in the games at all. Video games are toys for children. Children should not know about sex until they are 25 and married.
  22. No, we don't need reality TV like this.
  23. It's not really an MMO. The basic idea is that you create a hunter (create the look, pick weapon specialties, etc.) and take on contracts to hunt down giant monsters. Different weapon specialties lead to different play styles, and there's also tons of traps and bait you can use against your prey. The real draw (for the PSP series) is the co-op multiplayer. I've never gotten a chance to do it myself (I have Freedom 2 for PSP), but co-op multiplayer in Monster Hunter is apparently very, very good, because it really forces you to work together to succeed. Monster Hunter is massively popular over in Japan, and is one of the big reasons that PSP is still a popular system over there. It's one of the system's "killer apps." The formula for the game is so successful that Capcom is basically replicating it in Lost Planet 2. I'm definitely planning on getting Tri, even though I'm kind of bad at Freedom 2 (though that's largely due to my inability to deal with the PSP game's kind-of-clunky controls). The game looks awesome and it comes from a strong franchise.
