Revenge Round 1 Scores Ralphis: 21 WINNER Yoozer: 11 Doni: 10 Txai: 22 WINNER Revenge Round 2 Scores Neblix - 18 WINNER Cyril - 15 Txai - WINNER by default Revenge Round 3 Scores Txai - 13 WINNER Neblix - 4 Willrock - WINNER by default Revenge Round 4 Scores Willrock - Flash Man - 17 WINNER Txai - Magnet Man - 4 __ The year is 20XX, and the Robot Masters of the world have come together in order to fight for supremacy, but not with elemental abilities! No! They've decided to fight with a more potent weapon: PHAT BEATS, WAILIN' GUITARS, and OTHER SIMILARLY EPICALLY DESCRIBED MUSICAL ELEMENTS. So begins OCR's Grand Robot Master Remix Battle! How does it work? You, the remixer, choose any Robot Master from Mega Man 1-6 (NES), Mega Man 7 (SNES), Mega Man 8 (PSX) Mega Man 9 (DLC), Mega Man and Bass (SNES/GBA), or Mega Man Powered Up (PSP). Choose wisely, because this will be your Robot Master throughout the entire tournament. Once all competitors choose their Robot Masters, they'll be matched up with an opponent. When the round begins, remixers will have one week to write a "VS. Remix;" that is to say, a remix featuring the themes of their own Robot Master and their opponent's Robot Master. When the round ends, a public voting period of one week will be conducted for each battle. Voters should consider production, enjoyability, and how well the piece incorporates both themes. When the first round ends, winners will be matched up with other winners in the Champions Bracket, and the losers will be matched up with other losers for the Revenge Bracket. Participants in the Revenge Bracket can fight for the chance to battle the Champion at the end of the competition; this way, even if someone gets eliminated in the first round, they still have a shot at taking the title. After the first round, subsequent rounds will be conducted in two week cycles until only one Robot Master remains. The winner will be named OCR's Robot Grandmaster and will get like a cool sig or something, I dunno. Maybe we'll take the really stellar mixes and throw them on a project and do an album release or something; who knows? I'm not a remixer but I want to take part somehow. What can I do to help? We need sigs and artwork and stuff, so if you're good with the Photoshops, that'd be a big help. What about Mega Man X/Legends/Battle Network/Zero/ZX? This tournament is limited to the the main Classic series games. If this is successful maybe we'll organize a Grand Maverick Battle or a Grand Navi Battle. Can I be Dr. Wily/Dr. Cossack/Mr. X? Those guys aren't Robot Masters, so no, sorry. __ ARCHIVES: Mixes from Round 1: Mirror 1 Mirror 2 Mirror 3 Mirror 4 Mirror 5 Mixes from Round 2: Mirror 1 Mirror 2 Mirror 3 Mirror 4 Mixes from Round 3: Mirror 1 Mirror 2 Mirror 3 Mixes from Round 4: Mirror 1 Mirror 2 Mixes from Revenge Round 1: Mirror 1 Mirror 2 Mixes from Revenge Round 2: Mirror 1 Mirror 2 Mixes from Revenge Round 3: Mirror 1 Mirror 2 Mixes from Revenge Round 4: Mirror 1
  3. I actually still have NOT gotten around to activating my copy of Aion. xD Maybe once I get all my computer issues sorted out I'll start it up.
  4. Just watched the wedding! It was great! Short and sweet and you two looked so excited! IS IT JONES?! Congratulations guys!
  5. You have to already have a PlayOnline account, so I guess I'm out.
  6. Nah, I once banned 8 accounts in a row. It's not getting any sillier than it already is.
  7. I don't use stickies that much anyway, so this shit sounds bangin', yo.
  8. If you watch the trailer you can see that they've moved Arkham into/near the city. It's probably temporary while they get the old Asylum back up and running. In any case, B:AA was like my Game of the Year so I'm pretty excited.
  9. Threads about video games belong in Community, not Off-Topic.
  10. Where are you getting that from? Inafune let the DEVELOPERS create their own bosses. They're not giving the PLAYER the ability to create bosses.
  11. I'm pretty sure that zircon wasn't saying a new VGMix is a bad idea.
  12. I really wish people would stop playing Mega Man games looking for cohesive plots and timelines.
  13. No I'm pretty sure it's just TF2 players looking for clues in every-goddamn-thing.
  14. Between this place and the Steam forums, it's quite apparent that TF2 player think too much.
  15. Says the director of Summoning of Spirits. (oh no he didn't)
  16. You should keep stuff like this out of official OCR podcasts. Particularly the first category.
  17. I wouldn't mind yearly installments of Classic Mega Man. Also there's a third as-of-yet-unrevealed playable character. Roll? Bass? Duo?
  18. Wow, calling him the "big" man right after he worked so hard to lose all that weight. Tactless. So tactless.
