Keep at it and good luck. Make sure you always get outside opinions on your work as you develop your pieces. Critical feedback is an important aspect of artistic growth. You won't get better in a vacuum.

You really want an honest opinion? It just doesn't sound very good. You're using really low quality samples and there's a ton of reverb in a lot of the tracks. The EQ is really skewed towards high frequencies. It sounds harsh. The arrangements are sparse and kind of boring. I had a hard time sitting down and listening to even one track all the way through. I wouldn't buy this.

Pretty conservative arrangement aside from some SFX reproduction in the middle, along with the Peter Gunn theme thrown in for some reason. Drums are too static; no real energy. Doesn't help that this feels slower than the original. NO

It's pleasant but it honestly gets kind of boring without any of the melody. Feels like it's relying the gated synth pattern for the first half, which is arguably less interesting than actually just...using the melody from the source. The arrangement clocks in at just under 3 minutes and I honestly feel like it's just one big extended intro that never pays off. The production and sounds are nice but ultimately the arrangement is half-baked; needs more time in the oven. NO (resub)

A little repetitive, but I don't think the arrangement is so long that it's a deal breaker. The arpeggio is pushed too far forward for the entire track, though. It's cutting through everything. When melodic lines come in, you have to shift focus away by lowering the volume, dropping an octave, changing it to a lighter instrument, etc.; there are plenty of techniques you can employ. Needs a second look. NO (resub)

I think the rapping and production are great, but there's too much sampling of the original for OCR, IMO. NO.

I think this is great. I don't think the copy/paste is a problem. Sound design is cool. Very groovy. Awesome solo. Ending's a little weird tho. Feels like you split the difference between just stopping and doing a fadeout. Next time just pick one. YES

Nier Automata is pretty deep. FFXIV expansions like Heavensward and Stormblood are also up there.

Not enough source usage IMO. The original sounds weird because of the portamento sine wave but it's actually a pretty straightforward source tune. This really goes off and does its own thing that sort of just sounds adjacent to the original. I hear bits of it here and there, but I think the approach is too much; too caught up in its own concept and not taking and presenting enough from the source tune. NO

Overall this is a nice arrangement of a short source tune. The repetition doesn't bother me too much, but around halfway through I feel the itch for some variety. Deia's right about instruments sitting in the same space; playing with octaves might help. There's a lot of reverb in this track; I'm not sure if that's good or bad. Might want to adjust the wet/dry on individual instruments. The percussion feels a little boomy. I personally really like the ending. A good effort but I think this one needs a little more attention. That is standard for torrent clients. What I meant by "robust" is something where you could filter the files by a term you type in a search box.

I can't think of a single bittorrent client that has really robust file selection capabilities. The use case is so small and so specific. If you really want to do this my suggestion would be to instead download everything and then maybe write some kind of script that deletes any file that's not in your text file. But then you're also missing out on like...3000+ other remixes that you might also like?

I think this track needs a second pass on the mixing. Tambourine is cutting through, and the accordion is dominating. Coming back and listening again, I have less of a problem with the transitions (or lack thereof). It'll take a little work but I don't think anything needs to be resequenced or rerecorded. Just really take a look at the levels and EQ. I'm with the youngbloods on this. NO (pls resub)

For stuff like NES, SNES, and PSX mini, I pretty much passed. But this seems like it's right up my alley. Wily Wars is huge.

Love the flute. Really great texture juxtaposing it with the electric guitar. Odd choice but it's not bad. Nice arrangement. A little conservative but a YES

Yes that's correct. We haven't posted any Crisis Core remixes. This just sounds more like an oblique way of making a request for Crisis Core remixes, so I'm moving the thread.
