damn these n00bs!!! Actually, for what it was worth, it really isn't that bad. Although you would probably benefit more with softsynths that have more timbre, and don't sound so thin.

Automation clips are easier and quicker to use in my opinion. You can see them on the playlist, edit anything quickly, and know what the clip is doing to what synth/effect/whatever.

There is a bass synth in there =( The problem with adding pretty much anymore into this, is that it will sound cluttered, sounds will clash, etc. etc. I will be making slight mods to this (the ending kinda bothers me), but I'm sure it still won't pass. Oh well, fun fun.

Pretty much. Worse comes to worse, the date can be moved to august or something. I know I'm going to be starting a job by the end of the month so even May may be a little iffy for me. But still, the lack of interest is disappointing ;__;

^_________________________________^ While FL on it's own isn't really a bad start to make these genre, I'd recommend expanding your library. Effects, effects, effects. As soc said, play with drums. Make simple beats, then manipulate these beats. Break rules. Play with the granulizer, slicer, sampler. I wouldn't have an idea in your head when it comes to these genres. It's much easier to make a sound by mistake, then it is to create one (especially if you're a beginner).

Yes. This happens to me quite a bit actually. I'd type a couple of words (in any forum) and sometimes it'll crash. Quite annoying =(

*raises hand* Since googlepages sometimes doesn't allow people to download the entire song, Escariot has given me a bit of his space. Now I have a boat load of space yet no website to really show it off. I know no nothing really about building a website from scratch.

I really, really like the style. Completely awesome. Reminds me a lot of 'who the heck turned out the lights' from Earthworm Jim. As for comments, the timing for some of the notes on the various instruments sound off. The sax(s) that plays at 2:20 sound really. They actually sound like the winning fanfare from a windows 95 game or something. The transition from piano at 0:51 - 0:55 also sounded weird. It was kinda play, stop, play something different. Didn't flow well. I think if you at least quantized everything so that everything was on a beat, on tempo, it would sound a lot more smoooooooth. Also a bit of overall master wouldn't hurt either. Good stuff.

Super Awesome (That was intentional) I screw up there D=!! . Bits of the original are scattered in the first half. I'm subtly trying to throw more of the melody into this (If I can only remember what I did with my other pattern =< ). Wicked. What originally was a montage to Kid Koala turned into a BoC/DJ Shadow/My style remix (Of SMRPG mallow sad song). I'm having a love hate relationship with the song, so if there's anything in here that doesn't tickle your fancy, say it.

you have awful timing Monobrow =< I just updated it again. I think that's all I'm going with the track, anymore in terms of length will have nothing to do with the original and I'll probably just be manipulating samples, etc.

K, kind of a weak bump, but I threw in some slight arping chipsynths in, extended it a wee bit, added a perfect audio clip, did a bit more work with the drums? Probably... I think I'm gonna bring back the melody again and throw an outtro on it. Not sure what else I can do with this.
