  1. Count me hopefully in to hang out in San Francisco or San Jose
  2. Only just started, but loving it so far.
  3. Happy birthday, meteo!
  4. Reapers are broken; I fully expect them to be nerfed in later patches. I still hate protoss (both playing as and playing against) every bit as much as I did on WoL. Zerg, though. Zerg is damn fun.
  5. Thoughts on the single player campaign: The campaign is way too easy, and the writing is painfully bad.
  6. Who else is playing?
  7. Why do you always have the best sigs?

Also, is that you in your sig?

  8. OH SHIT I REMEMBER THAT GAME! I haven't played it in years, but I seem to recall really enjoying it.
  9. Finding all the Triforce shards in LoZ: Wind Waker.
  10. That's.... a really clever double entendre
  11. Just played through it yesterday, and my reaction can best be summarized as follows: meh. Characters were flat and uninteresting, music all sounded the same, controls were clunky. The plot in general was fantastic, but the game really did not live up to its potential.
  12. Ok, one more from ME3: I recently did a playthrough where I did not broker peace between the Quarians and the Geth, but rather saved the Quarians and let the Geth die. Oh. My. Cthulhu. "Does..... this.... unit... have...." I cried like a fucking baby.
  13. Mass Effect 2. When I first played the original Mass Effect, I couldn't get into it at all. Everything about it was clunky and awkward. The voice acting, the equipment menus, the controls, everything. When I picked up Mass Effect 2, I found that literally ALL of these issues had been fixed. The engine, the menus, the voice acting, the body language of the characters, EVERYTHING was so much tighter and more fluid and more natural, and so I could really get into the game. I loved it so much that I went back and gave ME1 another try, and finally finished it, and even though I still don't actually like ME1, I'm glad that ME2 convinced me to give it another go and see it all the way through, if only so I could have Wrex alive in ME2 and ME3. Also, I fucking loved ME3. Fuck the haters; a half hour of mediocre writing at the end does not in any way devalue the 20 hours of fantastic writing and gameplay that precedes it.
  14. Sexiest bass line I've ever heard right here.
  15. Violin could use some reverb, but otherwise very nice.
  16. Might have to join y'all on this thing. I've been slacking WAAAAAY off since retiring from competition, and while I don't think I'll be competing again, I want to get back in that kind of shape.
  17. Usa! How the hell are you? I haven't heard from you in ages!
  18. Absolutely fantastic project. Will go through and leave more specific notes later.
  19. This is just too perfect
  20. I'm so glad it got bumped, though; otherwise I wouldn't have seen it. This is fucking gold! Oh my cthulhu I don't think I've laughed that hard at a forum post since the ukeke3000 thread.
  21. Also, holy fucking shitballs your sig is awesome

  22. Wow, stunning! Really cool take on the tune, really cool sounds, fantastic work!
  23. At some point in my life I hope to make a pilgrimage to the grave of Carl Sagan.
  24. Apparently the rumors that Sagan's family asked melodysheep not to use Sagan's material are false. His son, Nick, gave the series an enthusiastic endorsement
