  1. This is definitely one sick mix. I was expecting loads of epic rock-your-fucking-face-off guitar shredding, and absolutely got it. However, the strings were a complete surprise, and they were absolutely beautiful. Blended seamlessly with the more traditional rock elements, and provided a really nice contrast to the force and weight of the rest of the track. Definitely one of my favorite mixes.
  2. I'm going to have to miss this one as well. Sorry guys, but it was either this or MAGfest, and I already paid for MAGfest.
  3. Yeah, pretty much. This is brilliant. Arrangement, production, and especially concept are absolutely brilliant.
  4. Ok, guys, if somebody ever tries this again (aside from alt accounts), we should all act like it's brilliant and see if we can get them to actually submit it.
  5. Wait, did this post always say this or just since he edited it?
  6. For shame, DS. As a judge, you should know that changing the tags constitutes an addition of original material, making the mix his own!
  7. Well, it has a bit too much reverb. Also, some of the strings and percussion are sort of faux. If you're hitting the same note repeatedly on any sampled instrument, it's usually a good idea to vary up the velocity a bit. Also, before you submit this, make sure you come up with a better remixer name. David Cleese is sorta boring. How about "Cleek?" I look forward to hearing the next update.
  8. BRILLIANT! Yes, please clean up the mud a bit and then submit this. The judges absolutely must hear this. ANYBODY WHO SAYS ANYTHING TO THE CONTRARY SHOULD SHUT THE FUCK UP.
  9. By the way, I resent the implication that llamas are somehow not the definition of awesome. Proof that llamas are awesome: once, my brother and I (along with our dad, our cousin, and two guides) were llama trekking (hiking with llamas coming along with us to carry our packs), and my brother was harassing one of the llamas. It reared back its head and sneezed in his face. He, paused a second for his brain to process the situation, then ran away screaming. It was the funniest fucking thing I have ever seen. His hair was completely drenched in llama snot. He had a layer of snot covering his face. Snot in his ears, snot in his mouth, snot all over him. Oh my god that was epic. Anyway, carry on.
  10. How about a game simply about those 7 years, from Zelda's perspective? Imagine, if you will, that 7 years was not predetermined, that Link was not kept in the Sacred Realm so he could grow older, but rather was trapped there when Ganondorf took the triforce. Ganondorf takes the three spiritual stones, and again hides them throughout hyrule, and in doing so reseals the entrance to the sacred realm with Link inside. In order to help Link escape from the Sacred Realm, Zelda must find the three spiritual stones and bring them once again to the temple of time. But wait! The Ocarina of Time is sealed inside the sacred realm as well! It cannot be used to open the door of time. It's up to Zelda to discover some other way... I would definitely buy a game like that.
  11. Pure brilliance. Bass and percussion are absolutely amazing. Definitely among my all-time favorites.
  12. Brian could be an interesting addition. Only problem is that Quest 64 kinda sucked.
  13. I think having the CPU take over for dropped players is brilliant!
  14. How much money are we talking about here? I'm currently slammed with work, but most of it I'm not getting paid for; in other words if this pays enough, it will jump to the top of my priority list.
  15. You forgot the moogle chick. mmmmmmmm moogle chick.
  16. And how we'll even walk him back to his room after we brutally gang rape him.
  17. Make sure to tell them what nice people we are.
  18. God damnit I fucking hate the ball rolling stars.
