  1. Well, the best Donkey Kong game I ever played was controlled by a pair of bongos, which I'm having trouble finding right now. Anyway, I'm broke, so maybe I can ask for it for Christmas or something. I like how you can warp to places in the background (I've wanted to do that since the 8 bit days), and I'm looking forward to playing a 2D Retro Studios game.
  2. After playing Sonic 4 about eight times and letting it really sink in, I gotta say that it's quite a disappointment, and that they're basically cashing by riding on Mega Man 9's coattails. I was a bit quick to defend it, but now the bias is gone; However Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing is awesome. Much better than Mario Kart Wii, more imaginative, and it has freaking Opa Opa from fantasy zone in it.
  3. It is good. By the way, I was doing my upper-body workout yesterday, and "It's my turn to dream" came on and I just kept hitting repeat. Great stuff.
  4. Thanks. Who cares what who thinks of what console. I've got to grow up. Peace. : )

  5. Hey man. I was a little too hard on that post. Sorry about cursing you out like that. I'm a moody bastard. Anyway, sorry.

  6. Yeah, I really liked being able to play with four people on NSBW, and I liked it so much that I had to get a copy for my little brother, but I thought they could've made it that much more awesome by spending more time on the graphics and options. Nintendo are lazy, but it doesn't mean that their games suck. Anyway, there are two things I'd like to say: 1. I had a bad drink and acted like a total dick last night, especially to Brushfire. You can find my apology on page 3. 2. We're off topic. We're supposed to be talking about the controllers. Alright. Peace.
  7. I'll give that to you, Nintendo could certainly mix things up a bit. Super Mario Galaxy 2 worried me a bit - It seems they're happy with more of the same. I'm glad I rented it instead of bought it because I don't see a reason to own it with the first game available, and I thought that New Super Mario Brothers could've have been more polished. They're getting lazy, and it's true because it's visible from a mile away. Many of us stuck with the system and have had a lot of fun with it over the years. Sure, there's lots of shovelware, but it's not hard to spot the good games. Although I think I'm getting to old to argue about video games on the net. I think I bottled up all of my gamer hate for a year or two and decided to let it out right here, so I'm sorry about that. But, it's like people get a free pass for ripping the wii, but oh no don't ever make fun of a "superior HD console." Self-serving bias works that way. People think that they're not subject to the same criticism they employ due to some loophole they've created in their own mind. Yet, I think people should actually play the games that they make fun of, I see a lot of people just reading what others say or what Yahtzee says and then just running with it.
  8. Edit: I had a bad drink and acted like an asshole on the internet. Somebody said something that I thought was shallow, and it was, and I overcompensated by making a total ass of myself. Please accept my formal apology. This goes to Brushfire, and the entire Overclocked Remix community.
  9. The real question is, would you rather her spank you with her whip or with her bare hands? I would take her bare hands.
  10. I doubt that you've played half of these games. Go down the list and critique the ones you've actually played, "after dark man". Your blatant disregard of Madworld makes me think that you're just a fanboy asshole masquerading as someone who means two shits to this community. Edit: You're a douche
  11. I wonder what Samus' favorite kind of pasta is. I'm willing to bet it's Penne.
  12. I'm not a person with a lot of money, so I haven't even considered investing in Kinect, and definitely not for Move. I've had a Wii for years now, and I have a 360, and I still don't have enough party games for my Wii to go out and buy a piece of technology that hasn't even been proven and has a much smaller library. We just recently got tired of Wario Ware. Yet, I haven't tried either of the new control methods, but I'm pretty sure I won't be getting them. I have a 360, and I enjoy it, but I'm still catching up with the popular titles on that system, like Gears of War. There are tons of games on both the Wii and 360 that have been out for years that I want to play - especially Oblivion. I'm still waiting to play Wii Sports Resort! So, I think if you own the Wii and one of the HD consoles, it makes these new methods pretty useless unless you just have lots of money to blow.
  13. I like how Wii shooters control. If it controls anything like Prime 3 or Conduit count me in. It's kinda sad that people don't embrace Wii controls. Especially on Punch Out - I think it's twice as fun with motion control, and Prime 3's absolutely kill the first two's control schemes. I think it's just that people are often creatures of habit. How's the online on 007?
  14. Emo guy: Hey, pretty girl. Look at me saxy. Girl: Uh, what? Emo guy: BLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Girl: What the flying fuck is wrong with you?
  15. I've seen a lot of awful crap in these twenty-eight years, but after viewing half of this and failing to view the rest, I have effectively confirmed that this is the worst thing to happen in the history of everything. ? Thoughts people? Can you find anything worse than this? Kesha has just been booted to # 2 in history's worst.
  16. The original Ninja Gaiden and those damn birds. Also, Castlevania and those floaty heads. Mario Kart and the rubber band AI, blue shells, unfair items - especially on wii. Bosses, in general, that toss out lots of henchman when they fight you, especially when the boss is already extremely large and/or dangerous. Batman: Arkham Asylum did this a lot. But nothing pisses me off more than Mario Kart Wii. Great online, great control, and terrible terrible balancing.
  17. Holy mega-donkey-cow-balls. Um. I don't know what to think of this, but if Inafune left Capcom...Oh no. People, we need consolation.
  18. I listen to music everywhere that I can. I`have a CD player in my car, and I have a big stereo in the living room, hooked up to the consoles and TV. I also have a computer with all of my music on it. I still prefer the sound of a CD in a car stereo. Very full sound, personal and in-your-face. I have an iPod nano for when I work out, and sometimes I stream internet radio, because it's great for finding new music. Overall, my favorite thing to do is buy a new CD and just lay on the floor while reading the lyrics and liner notes and letting the album play through. Lossless CDs can't be topped, although there is also something amazing about sprinting to some fast trance or some metal or thrash. When I move into a new place, I plan on rigging a stereo through the entire house, through my computer-jukebox. I don't know if you've ever seen in motion, but it's pretty awesome having a "sound network".
  19. What has it been, like two months since I've replied? Well, I appreciate the stuff you sent me to check out, although Darkness reminds my favorite work of the bunch. Have you heard of a band called Vomitron? They're an American band, a far cry from the Japanese stuff you're into, however the music is great- They do game covers and originals.

    Anyway, take it easy dude.

  20. Thanks. I think it's cool that a musician that I'm a fan of thinks my music of good quality. Much appreciated sir.

  21. Well, my lady says the graphics are great, and that's on Wii. So, yeah, I'll let you know what she thinks of the music later. Non-gamers are the best reviewers. Less bias. Also, less zoom please? It's generally agreed now I suppose.
  22. On Sonic 4 - I like the controls, especially the air dash maneuver. I used to wish I had that ability in other games. Music is awesome in some areas, and meh in others. I don't know how I feel about this game. I just got accustomed last night, but I'll say this - Most of the complaints I'm hearing are the same ones I hear people make about the original Genesis Sonic games. If you're not hard on money - Give it a shot. Poor little Sega are trying to make it up to you.
  23. ......Currently downloading Sonic 4......Huff......One last chance, Sonic. That is IT!
