  1. Save As > mp3pro (in the dropdown box) > Options (right below the drop down bow) > I think you can guess after that.
  2. A post from Maine: My latest version is on my soundclick (www.soundclick.com/chavous). Bye!
  3. The closest thing to that would be "God of War"...I guess
  4. What you are looking for is a pedal steel guitar. What you need though, is a pedal steel guitar sample, a good guitar amp VST and a little Portamento between notes.
  5. www.putfile.com www.sitesled.com (I think, for FTP uploading) www.soundclick.com
  6. Major probable source of the problem. If your CPU useage gets near 40 or 50, thats when the fuz starts. It also could happen if a program like AIM is giving you those little pop-up things in the corner and the only way to fix it is top restart FL. Compyfox: Shut the fuck up. If you don't have any helpful comments, stay out of the threads where stupid questions are asked. QK: For future reference, use the Fruity Loops help thread stickied up top.
  7. Yes, realpolitik is a jerk. Ignore the people that are jerks and your stay will be more pleasant. Again: It's whatever your preference for learning is. Personally I use FL, so do many others. Some people use Reason and claim its the best thing since sliced bread, but I don't think I'd like it. Finale, Sibelius, and all that are good for sheet music, but not for remixing unless accompanied by FL or Reason for better sound quality.
  8. Oshitz, sorry DZC, i forgot I was going to link you to a couple crowd noises...ignore the compression issues when you sample them, they disappear when you download it. http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/samplesViewSingle.php?id=19773 This one is just of a crowded street. http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/samplesViewSingle.php?id=1921 Some applause. http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/samplesViewSingle.php?id=18365 Personally my favorite, crowd gets louder after a while.
  9. ^ Hey dumbass, that's what I said.
  10. I have to disagree. The recording quality, type of mics, temperature and brand of drum kit all effect the tone of a drum kit, so it is possible to obtain that tone, just unlikely. The video was boring. The thing is, if the Winston brothers don't care, why should everybody else? It is a high-energy infectious beat, so who cares? If your arguement is "BUT OH EM GEE WAHT IF TEHY DO TAHT 2 U?!?!?". The answer is, I'll sue them. I'll let you know if one of my funk beats becomes a new underground electronic phenomenen
  11. I just import this MIDI and adjust as necessary. http://media.putfile.com/tripulets Edit: Oops, sorry, I never used the sequencer. This can stay here anyway...
  12. Most drum sets are built off the same hits, the starting sample is a bass drum on C3. Then you go up chromatically to a rimshot, snare, (insert sample), another snare, etc. Just fool around with it like that and you will soon memorize the pattern.
  13. ^This should go into the FLStudio help thread... Anyway, go to the toolbar up top, Channels > More... > Refresh (on the bottom, make sure your VST is in a VST folder).
  14. You have to change the bank preset to anything but 1. Edit: The best kit I have ever heard is one that I have, called livekit7. http://www.sf2midi.com/index.php?page=sdet&id=6472 The guy that recorded it did a graet job with his velocities.
  15. um, if i want to specify 1 instrument's sound goes "up and down" how to do it? i just made all stuff 's sound go up and down together only Just for future reference, when the pitch goes "up and down", its called vibrato. You might want to brush up on some musical terms to communicate a little clearer. No problem, though.
  16. Yes, thats the pitch controller. You need to play around with the pitch event editor, make it go "up and down" until you get the speed right. Sorry if that was too vague, I have a tendency to do that without realizing it.
  17. Just ask zircon. zircon has every vst known to mankind. he pretty much sucked before he got them. dont believe me? listen to his green greens mix on vgmix when it goes back up. That just proves the point further (good software=good music)... And your excuse? I don't see any OCRemixes in your name...and I'm not turning this into a flame thread. PM me if you have a problem.
  18. -Very begginer friendly. I started out with it and still use it. -It is available in most music stores, you just have to do a little searching to find it. I found it once in Sam Ash music, not sure if that's a national store or not. -Yes, very possible with limited hardware (aka the program, a computer, and a mouse). That's all I have to make music too. Knowing your way around a piano helps, too. Edit: chillah, yea, this is the right place. Thanks for helping.
  19. Sometimes all I do is take a sample, open the mixer and just add effect after effect until it sounds cool. Yup.
  20. http://www.sf2midi.com/index.php?page=sdet&id=7733 This is the only one I know off the top of my head. There are some fun things in this one, so check it out evben if you don't like it.
  21. me 2 .. Yup, same here. I mostly only mix for PRC, ORC and some projects. Outside of that it's mostly originals though.
  22. Same thing happens to me when I try to use EWQLOS. I think it has something to do with the physical memory or RAM limits, but I'm not sure.
