  1. I haven't heard this until today, but this one stays on my playlist for awhile.. it's Mazedude and all heh. A classic remix to be sure Gotta love the gasp at the start..
  2. As others have already mentioned, it's musical style and pace is heavily reminicent of later Bond movie soundtracks. Which is something i really appreciate here. I've kept this FF3-Veldt masterpiece on repeat oh about 10 times now..no need to question it's timing or instrumental quality after the initial reactions it got. It just sound great overall and totally reeks of this familar mystery feel that many of us sense in some 16-bit adventure games. +1 respect point goes to Israfel
  3. She just wanted to kill God. Why ..i'd let her have my babies
  4. I gotta lay in the neutrality on this one. While it's rightout soothing for the soul with a good old piano solo, it's not exactly what i was hoping it would be. Maybe its just my standards being hightened up a notch..i mean from hearing all the previous CT remixes, which are plentiful to say the least. Anyways ,it's played out with adequate skill and precision, and even though i personally didn't shout out with joy listening..it's definitly worth a try doing so.
  5. Mamma Mia ! Nooooooooooo. It's far too clean to be posted there Anyways ocr has always been in dire need of the occasional porn injection.
  6. You ,my dearest apprentice. You are the hardest boss ! Just looking at your profile makes me shiver. Hot damn man. 33 posts per day ? Jaysis! You're improving all the time
  7. I'm very glad this review thread got bumped, cause for me it was completly unheard of. This one stay on my playlist for a looong time. Reminds me of old Amiga shmups
  8. My thoughts somehow wanders off to Turok 2 - level 4 (Lair of the Blind Ones) for the beginning of this remix..it's so similar in the piano tune mostly. Anyway ,this thing is well composed. Well composed indeed TO, you have an uncanny knack for making quality Doom songs. Keep up yer great work cause we surely want more of this
  9. I take a break from ocremix for a few days , and then i come back to hear this stuff ! All i can say is Fantastic and Nostalgic. Terrific work, Redlight !
  10. My own opinion is that it was a really funky tune. I liked it. Neskvartetten has done it again ^^ Yay ! First OCR'er from my hometown i believe En jävla kunglig sajt det här Anyways..This stuff goes straight on to my playlist ,there's no doubt about that. The Dark World Dungeon jazz really soothes my returning hangover well. Excellent work guys !!
  11. The song is 6:40 long for a good reason ,it's a wonderful emotive stretched-out version of Ruined World (the original could almost bring tears to your eyes). I miss the bells in this one ..although they do show up faintly in the beginning. Otherwise ,no complaints. CotMM's far best remix
  12. Dome 16 was one of my favorite game environments anyway ,so it's nice some talented remixer did it into something completely anew style. Cool samples and instruments, and quite fitting to compliment a 16-bit game.. Nice work Beatdrop !
  13. Yay another CV rock song, not a moment to soon either This stuff sure rocks (i don't mind that it's very close to the source material), when it's THIS good. Like the others said ,great solo at the end !
  14. Well at least it's a nice lullaby. The seamless transitions makes for a good moodsetter.
  15. Bumped it for you Excellent song btw. I was moved by it also..it could have fit in a movie soundtrack anyday.
  16. It's a powerful song. Sounds mexican in a way and very classy. Great instruments as well. Almost epic to me. Hope to hear more from this remixer soon.. Nice work DZComposer
  17. What a dissonant remix it is But i like it all the same..it's Shnabubula !
  18. This one goes on Rimmy's playlist ASAP. It fits well with the hangover recovery from yesterdays..
  19. Yes ,this really is something else. A rather difficult tune to remix.. Harmony did a great job here, really great ! The vocals are very mellow and soothing to the ear ,and the instruments are very well chosen i'd say. IMHO... SoM - 40% Orig - 60%
  20. I'm thinking of Magneto in X-Men ,imprisoned in a cage made of clear plastic. Close enough. As for the song .. i liked it 8/10
  21. Absolutly brilliant piano solo. And even as a medley of 2 of the greatest CV tunes ever ! You have classic dexterity Dhsu
  22. Trance remixes to Zelda games are always welcomed in my book as well. It makes me think of Temple Trance for Zelda2. Nice overall beat, good fades and most of all.. well chosen instruments with some variety to it
  23. The Elecman was my favorite stage anyway. Yay ! This is a solid and interresting remix. Give it a good listen
  24. Only 5 reviews for such an old remix ? Wow ,this munky dude should have had more of his great stuff out on ocremix, cause i wanna hear every piece of brilliance he's made. This is funky stuff alright What a strikingly heavy pace ! Thumbs Up !
