I'd say so, but if you're able to get the XBLA version I'd go for that instead.

It's amazing -only- for dungeon crawler lovers. I don't think I could even stomach the game if I didn't enjoy it.

Etrian Odyssey is amazing...if you like straight-up old school dungeon crawlers. If that's not your thing, stay very far away, because that's all it is.

Contact looked cool, but I haven't bought an RPG for my DS since Etrian Odyssey just because I've been playing way too many other games.

The only level I really say I dislike is Flat Zone...it's just too small. The moving ones are fine by me, if you can't handle them, well then you've got another skill to work on as far as I'm concerned.

Y'know, I've yet to hear that mix. But yea...what's been said is all true about higher file sizes, higher bitrates, and that whole shebang. I don't really think it necessary myself and it's more of a hassle, isn't it? Don't FLAC files use something other than your typical MP3 program? (I wouldn't know, at highest "quality" I've used mp3 and wav.)

June is (End) Boss Month shouldn't really be a quirk unless if it keeps on sticking...which will take more time to tell. At some point there was discussion on having a specific theme for each month other than the holidays and what the sig-makers like to do at each of those times, but that's not quite OCR specific.

I'll definitely order this once I get home, and this'll probably be the first time I order the physical CD as opposed to digital since all I've been hearing are amazing things, that and the EP just sounds amazing (like from what people have said...I have yet to enjoy it first hand).

That's definitely a saxophone, I would know since my main instrument is clarinet and I play tenor sax on the side. It definitely isn't a tenor I can tell you that and it sounds higher so it has to be either an alto or a soprano. The main melody sounds like a soprano, but the background licks sound alto-ish...but I'm almost certain the feel tells me it should be more of the same instrument...so I'm not sure of which myself. If I had to put money on it, I'd have to say it's a soprano saxophone.

In regards to Naruto and Bleach I only read the manga now. I'm also currently following Dragonaut the Resonance, which is kinda lame...but it entertains me, Shakugan No Shana, which is in the same boat, but I have seen some pretty interesting ones. I recently finished Noir which was quite good. I've always liked anime, but it's hit or miss with these newer ones. Oh, and if you liked the Gundam idea but didn't like the anime itself try out Eureka seveN.

The animated e-manga is, in fact, canon. It was produced officially. There are a bunch of places you can easily search to find it both in frames as jpgs translated and as the original flash.

There was a two volume e-manga (as in electric, not ero) done showing Samus' beginnings when her village/colony type deal was destroyed and the Chozo took her in.

I got a 360 which I bought I told my dad to order on Black Friday and Halo 3...that's only the stuff I know about now, but I can assume that tomorrow there will be some little surprises here and there which'll be nice. Hopefully a HD cable for the 360 that has a vga/dvi port...since I kinda forgot to get one and am currently using composite...which blows when you're using a nice monitor.

So Metaknight -is- acting as a foil to Pit...this only leads me to further believe that nobody really wanted Pit to be added, but they needed some sort of angelic character to balance out the black wings of kirby-like destruction.

There shouldn't be any anti-Christian nonsense about this series, in my opinion. It's a fantasy and it so happens to be set with parallels to our life. He decided to use the church as an engine for his story like so many other people (Da Vinci Code, Narnia, Halo [yes, you heard me correctly, they have obvious references for those who pay attention]), albeit, a little openly for what the public is used to. It's just a good story, nothing more, nothing less. I do hope however, it'll be a good movie, too. And American's don't know what the Northern Lights are?! Wtf? what do kids learn these days?

With the moving up and coming, my roommate and I decided to buy the His Dark Materials trilogy a couple of days and read them before seeing the movie. The Golden Compass was the first of the set, and I'm already more than halfway through the second book. So discuss about the book or the movie or how you think it's going to work out in terms of production. I don't know what I'll say about my expectations for the movie now, but I must say that the book was insanely smart and witty. I literally couldn't put it down. I was completely and utterly enthralled.

Because simple talk of nostalgia brings many topics to mind when it comes to Nintendo. Dunno what "on topic" is now, but as to the current one, Prime was fun, and don't I quite consider it an addition to the Metroid line in anything more than story. Nothing can replace Super Metroid in terms of Metroidvania gameplay.

I do think Nintendo is having too much fun getting artists to create tracks for them using their songs. It'd be a waste for them not to have them played, right? It's a fun option, but not suited for a game like Smash where they took so much time to get awesome tracks made specifically for it.
