I think I did Black Friday pretty well this year. I ordered the 360 deal online at Circuit City to be picked up when I get there. Mario's definitely throwing what seems to be a dodgeball that's flying above the hammer. I also don't think those items are from a game in specific...just seems fitting of Nintendo to add in odd sports balls ala the Mario [sport] lineup.

I just chalk that one up to him having too much crap weighing him down. That or it something funky with the Animus system like how they use it to keep boundaries on you (which is really clever, in my opinion).

Speaking of tiers, have they changed much recently? I haven't kept up with them cause I don't care too much and don't "believe" in them. I understand they are good indicators of what characters are better, but like what's been said: skill is skill.

Fair enough. I do use it as a way to gloat occasionally, but this is when I say that then don't switch characters. I dunno, I just like to keep things interesting where it'll be close matches all around so I tend to play to the level of my opponent without realizing it. Both for better and for worse.

For a bullet hell, it looks pretty weak...that being said it looks pretty awesome. Also, my first thought at 35 secs was indeed Metroid.

I've done the whole being apologetic cause you're too good for your playgroup bit, but really it shouldn't matter. I main as Samus and can play another two or three characters to a close level, so I just play as other characters until I feel like winning (I'm a bit of a jackass) then I pick one of my better characters. You just have to be smart about playing so that your playgroup won't hate you. Not to mention, if you do have someone like that who doesn't give an honest effort to make up for it, kick him the hell out. Don't waste your time not having fun with a game like Smash.

Agreed. Quite a boring final smash. Then again, Aether is pretty badass.

Is it possible to play the 360 GH3 with a PS2 guitar? Using a PS2->USB adaptor. I really don't like the feel of the 360 guitar and hit hurts my wrist when I play the hard stuff.
