  1. I just happen to have a pe.... I have some spooky songs. http://soundtempest.net/soc/compotune/oc-candyland.mp3 http://soundtempest.net/soc/compotune/oc-cst60-IPinch.mp3 http://soundtempest.net/soc/compotune/oc-cst64-everyonesasleepbutyou.mp3 http://soundtempest.net/soc/compotune/oc-cst74-percatory.mp3 http://soundtempest.net/soc/single/oc-balalaika.mp3 http://soundtempest.net/soc/single/oc-Sort.mp3 http://soundtempest.net/soc/remix/oc-mushishi-theshinen.mp3 Also, this one is not by me, but there are some good tracks on there, particularly by alexander chereshnev: http://www.kahvi.org/releases.php?release_number=209
  2. Everyone I know reads it as "Overlooked Remix" and I tell them "Well, it's OverClocked, but there is an Overlooked Remix which is better"
  3. OCR was the thing that kept me sane during my one year at boarding school back in 2001. I found K Praslowicz's Shadow remix on Napster and followed the link and here I am :3 I also remember how devastated I was during the remixer exodus but it turns out all that was for nothing anyway!
  4. My weekend this week is Thursday/Friday What is my weekend next week? Iduno, lol fucking retail
  5. At MY Guitar Center, they had that rig, with cubase all setup, plus a keyboard, nice-as-hell monitors, a nifty desk, and pretty much everything else imaginable - so try to load cubase [the ONE icon on the desktop] and of course, Steinberg being the gigantic faggots they are, spewed out some error about the licensing not being verified rendering the entire setup useless. This is one of the many reasons why I use Renoise. Obviously doesn't have all the bells and whistles of Cubase, but you don't need to pay out your ass for it, sign an insurance form and stick a dongle up your ass to use it. So yeah, I'll go there to look at stuff but I'll be damned if I buy anything from them - I've had no problems with eBay so far
  6. I started playing this game, and didn't stop until the Komato guys came down. At that point I had to quit because if I didn't I would not stop until my weekend was over
  7. Yeah it does look like Out of this World a bit doesn't it?
  8. They totally should though, because I have a bunch of good free ones: http://www.archive.org/details/BKTR007-VA_-_Larbre_dun_Train http://www.archive.org/details/ronincollective025 http://camomille.genshimedia.com/cam100.htm etc
  9. YES I've always wanted to meet you bring Impulse Tracker on a diskette and we can jam out :3
  10. there is a new wardriver release that is even better http://wardriver.thasauce.net/release/war004 see :3
  11. http://wardriver.thasauce.net/release/war004 Now with netlabel release!
  12. something awesome http://www.kvraudio.com/get/757.html here is a 3-band distortion VST that will probably do what you are asking - Beatdrop recommended this thing to me like 30 years ago and I think it is neat.
  13. I believe joshua morse [???] has a website for genre sorting of OCR mixes I forget where it is though
  14. The powers that be think genres are overrated and that you'd be missing out on several quality songs.
  15. Cool shit. It's weird seeing people like Kplecraft with high profile people like Koshiro or Hibino. Though groups like YMCK or Kple are probably way more huge in Japan than here.
  16. Zombies Ate My Neighbours lol :3 it kind of gets annoying right off the bat because of the voices being oversampled, I like the lofi alarm-ish sounds and the pads that come in around 0:27 but they'd only work in a different context.
  17. This is my favourite competition now Do some super robot wars :V
  18. I'll do it. If you've seen my album covers, you know how QUALITY they are :3
  19. Corran at my store it's a big bin about 3 records wide and like... a yard deep? Something like that. We also get a lot of those big box sets of classical records and we put like $4 on them maybe? but that's still not very much. I did sell a few of those Time Warner "Greatest Composers" sets also!
  20. How could you consider Arcubalis spam? Well actually that's all Jayson seems to do but thx for the OSV youtubes
  21. Goodwill here charges $1 per record. Also, 10 cents for a cassette tape
  22. Working at a thrift store, lemme tell you - the dealers pick out all the good records, and all they leave are basically three things: Christian country/folk, Neil Diamond, and Classical music. There is an overabundance of classical music on vinyl and nobody buys it because nobody listens to classical music, and the dealers think most of them are worthless. Actually, the pricey records are the ones imported from Japan or elsewhere. I've seen them go for a lot on eBay. I did get some good stuff before the dealers got their hands on it: -Steely Dan - Aja -Rick Astley single -Romeo & Juliet [the one by Prokofiev] -Jean Michel Jarre - Equinoxe -Star Wars orchestral album (plus the theme from 2001) - this thing looks like quite a collector's item actually! -Yes - Close to the Edge -Rick Wakeman - Journey to the Center of the Earth all for a dollar each. That plus i got crates of stuff my parents owned.
