  1. I think the Zen has the best battery life for a jukebox player - I looked into this. 24 hours of mp3 playback or 4 hours of video playback. The iPod has half of that iirc.
  2. Do you need all 80 GB? Well, I would, so I might look into it. I love my 60 GB Creative Zen to bits though. Actually, I spilled Sprite on it today D: but it still works thank god!
  3. lol'd:<:< also no I don't really have anything else to add
  4. I asked a coworker today and he said definitely the shoryuken
  5. I use XMPlay for everything. It's got a good library but it's basically like winamp, only with way less bloat [so it's like winamp 2 with better stuff]. To sync to my mp3 player I just use Windows Media Player, which is fine and rather easy. I can't help you with the podcast stuff though
  6. It's a bit quiet isn't it? I do like the extra stuff you added, though you don't have the cool melody in there at all! This is still a decent remix, I guess [not to be confused with ReMix]. You should fix up the levels and send it to that DX Music place.
  7. omgz we should totally collab I'd like to see your xrns files :3 I've been using Renoise exclusively for about a year now! Though my two OC remixes are made with FruityLoops since they're older tunes. FL Studio is okay but I really prefer the workflow of a tracker.
  8. Forget all the piano roll bullshit: Turn to the dark side :3
  9. Falchion's is the best method, sans having the original box with the big styrofoam bits in it. A big towel or a light blanket is good if you're feeling extra paranoid. I had to do that with my new TV since I got the floor model [lol]
  10. Welcome to OCR, dood! Find some hosting and post your stuff in the Works in Progress forum, there's probably a few people willing to give you some critiques on your music, to help you improve and whatnot.
  11. Instead of browsing online stores you should read ThaSauce for my Free Shit articles k
  12. That thing is way too big Why aren't you using XMMS?
  13. Larry used to play The Brinstar Beat on Insert Name Here [the precursor to "VG Frequency"] :3 He also used to end the shows with Bubb Rubb and Lil' Sis. Ah, those were the days.
  14. It's kind of annoying to wait so long for absolutely 0 results though. This is why competitions should only be 1 hour

  16. Find some old ones :3 Actually I'm watching the Patlabor OVA right now, lol.
  17. The music sucks and so does the art but the games are fun anyway. The bad art and music are okay though as there are groups like IOSYS that make awesome remakes of the touhou music, or music inspired by Touhou and other things. I've also found some pretty bitchin' art of Marisa and Reimu :3 If anyone wants to play one in English, Perfect Cherry Blossom is the only one so far to be translated. I think.
  18. I think Reaper outweighs Cubase in the value department, because it costs like $1500 less. Of course it doesn't hold a candle to Cubase or Sonar in terms of quality but for free it's probably the best DAW you can download, short of piracy.
  19. I already have a lot on my plate but I should take Golbez Clad in the Dark before someone else does :V can I has the evil dark lord plz
  20. Here's the original song w/ some of the game's artwork, for those who haven't heard the real song yet :/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E9aOtfgR-OA
  21. Even with ASIO4ALL your onboard isn't going to be good for music production really. Well, maybe, unless you're recording audio, then I'd say get an E-mu or an Audiophile
  22. Anti-piracy measure? Work? Hahahaha that's rather naive The best way to go about it is to just ignore it, and focus on programming a good game instead. Something people would want to buy.
