I'm seconding Nutritious here. Play Tachyon: http://youtube.com/watch?v=RYcYTtiOZI4 :3 It's from 1998 so it's a bit dated, but it features lots of Bruce Campbell voice acting [which makes it the best space sim ever]. There's a lot of things that make it one of my favourite games, from the whole gate system, to the huge space stations, and the varied environments. There's also a two-pronged story and you can pick a side later in the game.

Yes. If I remember right, usually they fine the venue, not the band, for not paying some license to let their shows play other peoples' copyrighted material. Weird how that one works. Hard to enforce though, I think you can get away with it in most smaller venues like bars or clubs.

You can't render the songs, can you? lol Very few people here [actually, just me you and Makke] use Renoise. I think people here would prefer mp3 files. I can still listen to the xrns files though. Oh, also this thread goes to WiP:Other actually D: have a mod move it for you or something.

I have made another one see the light Hey! I think you're going in the right direction with something like "Undersea." You still have emptiness issues though, like you probably need a bass part, plus that high synth is kind of annoying. Hmm... post your stuff in the WIP forums and I [and others] can probably give you more critiques for specific songs. For now, if you give me the .xrns file for Undersea I can take a look at it and show you what you can do with a piece like that. Whenever I get the time anyway, heh. Also, if you have IRC, feel free to drop by #renoise on irc.esper.net. I'm an op there and there's a lot more people who can help you with Renoise-specific things.

That'd be an interesting feature, but most people would probably prefer a Pod or micing their amps.

This sums up my feelings:

I have about 30 games [ ! ] in a queue that I haven't even touched yet. Right now I'm playing through the first Hitman game, and Soldier of Fortune. SoF runs oddly though, like sometimes certain textures won't display. I'm thinking this is just a case of forgotten backwards compatibility with my display drivers. It's still playable at least. It reminds me of SiN without the 10 minute loading times.

IIRC Colossus is an amalgamation of all of their sample libraries, made like a complete GM bank, so you can make teh good midi rips
