  1. Elfwood or Elwood? :3 This song reminds me of Necros or Siren a bit though. Great work very awesome early-90s sound.
  2. Malcos, you ARE going down to the shop and playing with these things, right? Actually, I wish I had more time to do stuff like that I like playing around with stuff in the store.
  3. Amazing Necrobump: Music video! this is how real men make music Also: still no archive.org reviews. 5 months. lol
  4. I've been looking at the Neko64 keyboards, which actually CAN run VST plugins, but I'm kind of regretting ever considering them because now their main selling point is that Timbaland uses their product. They actually have a "Timbaland Edition" Neko64. Yes, I will drop support of a product for stupid reasons like that. Same with the RME "Multiface" because it's a goddamn stupid name.
  5. I'm in the market for monitors too. I'll take a look at the Mackies, because everyone else has the KRKs
  6. Snapple studied under Ralph Parfait at film school
  7. lolololol There is an xrns2mid but most of you here probably wouldn't find that very useful.
  8. X, I've been linking to Project2612 constantly in this thread. There's already more VGM files than there were ever GYMs for in the past hosted there. Hell, they even have Operation Europe on there.
  9. fo realz. VGM is [way way way] smaller, sounds better, and the plugins are more stable.
  10. Always make sure they're done or mostly done with what they need to do first!
  11. I have a question! Isn't this the only thing you need to do? [fl chan's ahoge is pointing at the thing] Making a template and a complicated formula just seems like... a waste of time? Sorry. I've done plenty of decent pitchy solo keyboarding in FL studio before and I've never needed something that complex ever. One thing I just learned though is how to use FL Chan as a pointer. Now she's actually useful :3
  12. Short version: nope! long version: lol, what? no. Even Adobe Audition is more versatile than ProTools right now.
  13. Go to a thrift store, or a swap meet if you have them in your area. You will likely find one for less than 5 dollars. Well, at least I have some at my store. The stock is not always reliable but there's almost always game controllers or some sort.
  14. I'm partial to Cuban music myself. Google "Buena Vista Social Club" and you'll get some good music. I like this one :3
  15. I forgot! one more Genesis soundtrack, and this is important! Socket !!! it is kind of an underdog. The game was kind of like a mixture between Sonic and Mario, as there are fast parts, and tricky platforming parts, and you control a duck who travels through time and has a power cord coming out of his butt Great music by Fumito Tamayama [who also did Decap Attack]
  16. Not really. Watch Zeta Gundam instead Actually, there's lots of great stuff out nowadays. Lucky Star might be good for someone like you as a lot of the comedic material relies on knowledge of old anime or just the otaku culture in general. I would like to mirror what other people have been listing and recommend stuff like Mushishi, Death Note, Monster, code geass, Sousei no Aquarion, Gurren Lagann, etc.
  17. I have a whole bunch of this shit, I can hook you up with some if you want. I just call it all "world music" though you should really just say what it is - Tribal _____ Music, _____ Folk music, traditional _____ music, etc.
  18. haha, might be a little depressing for someone in the hospital, but yeah Sandman is good stuff Also! Transmetropolitan for a good laugh.
  19. That's a big mod file! Especially for a chiptune DDD: Remember anything else about them?
