  1. I'll play with someone...in a month or two once I'm out of school. I finally have a tv to keep in my own room, so it's a lot easier to catch people online with aim or something without having to actually get logged onto smash bros.
  2. It's possible to play competitively without taking it seriously. Well for some people anyway...
  3. I noticed that they shook, but it didn't really phase me much, it may have amused me a bit! Then again, I was a pretty weird even as a child...
  4. lol, poor brushfire is the pokemon pimp or something.
  5. Well, it doesn't matter too much because unless Canadian outlets are shaped the same as European ones I don't think you'll be able to plug anything in. I know in the US our plugs have flat prongs, but Europe has round ones doesn't it? It's been a really long time since I was there, and all I remember is having to use transformers for everything to work! So you might want to get an adapter. I also asked one of my friends that actually knows all that electrical mumbo jumbo, and he says that it probably won't work even if you can plug it into the wall without a way to boost the voltage or something to that effect.
  6. I have a story board and a series painting to get done, on top of a horrible twindgy stiff back. In short I'm getting very little done and haven't even thought of any ideas for this months theme.
  7. Game play may not equate to narrative, but a lot of the mood is dependent on the area the whole game covers I think that is what people are referring to. I do agree that it might be hard to fully establish the right mood that the game tries to convey, then again I fully expect whatever movie comes out of this to only superficially resemble the story and feel of the game.
  8. The only way I see this possibly working, is if they did it like those movies done specifically to be art rather then to draw a crowd. And any speaking is done in the games language, with subtitles. (Then no matter what country it's in it'll need subtitles). But that's not going to happen, it's going to be thoroughly maimed, warped and twisted to appeal to the main stream.
  9. I poked around with it some and left feed back. I feel like leaving more, but I'll leave it for the next possible time you update this. It looks like it'll be interesting (and I don't mean only the nice graphics )
  10. That is some serious WTF right there lol. Oh right, I've finished all the custom pokes that have been brought to my attention. Well not all of them I still need to do pixils, but otherwise they are done. So if I'm still missing anyone you better post something over on the project forums or hope one of the other artists knows about it.
  11. I never finished my interupted landscape but I still turned it in. I'm doing just fine on my series paintings (the project after that), even though I was having a melt down for 2 weeks trying to think of what to do with them, I'll probably be done well before the critique date.
  12. Who said I didn't play any of the other games? I have played assault (and beaten it), I just don't happen to have enjoyed it nearly as much as 64. The dinosaur planet game was ok I guess.
  13. I have no idea what I would do for this one. I'll ruminate on it for a while, maybe won't do it, since the semester is ending soon my art classes have suddenly become more frenetic...which I didn't think was even possible.
  14. I intellectually know there's more than two starfox games, but there's only two that actually count!
  15. Yeah, I've heard a similar sound in one (or both?) of the starfox games, and the metroid level in ssbm (I would assume it's probably in a metroid game too?) I'm going to go with stock sound effect as well.
  16. 1. I think that, overall, most gamers are: around the same age and 2. most of the gamers I know are: c) between 19 and 24 years old I have to keep reminding myself that I'm not a teenager anymore >.<
  17. I...I don't know how I feel about a Zelda game with trains... Certainly not interested though
  18. Yaridovich is a tough cookie even when you are leveled up enough, he hit's like a truck, so even if the battle is done fairly quick and easy it's still a bit scary.
  19. You know if the DSi does allow downloads of older games, it doesn't even need the gba slot. I'd get it, if I could afford it, and well also afford to buy downloadable games on it. It's the main reason I love my Wii, and would probably be a good reason to love a DSi.
  20. My to do list involves doing all the studying and thumbnailing I need to do for a interrupted landscape in watercolor before Sunday when I have to drive back to school. I really don't want to...the weather has been awesome but I just don't want to go outside. This semester has been so rough I just want to stay locked up in my room playing games, talk to my guy, and watch Bones.
