Okay, whoa. If I'm reading this correctly, Snivy and its evolutions have an ability that reverses the effect of stat-altering moves. Which is to say that a move that's supposed to boost a stat will now lower it, and vice versa. So not only does Snivy completely overturn the metagame by making every single buff move useless, but it can also spam Leaf Storm, a move that's supposed to be counterbalanced by the fact that it lowers your Sp. Atk, and get STRONGER? HAVE YOU GONE MAD GAME FREAK

You bastards. It's probably for the best that I've never actually had the chance to play Skies of Arcadia. This track is bad enough as it is; it'd be ten times worse when combined with the feeling of "This game that you really enjoyed is now over." EDIT: Also, if they'd only played the five minutes that had in it when I went to see the Transformers movie, I would not have asked for a refund.

That and, you know, the characters from VF and Tekken are much better match-ups for each other. Kazuya's a badass and all, but I don't see what he's supposed to do against a Hadoken when he can only jump a couple of feet high.

You should probably turn the game audio down a bit. It's pretty hard to make out what you're saying a lot of the time.

I'll be fine as long as it isn't grossly imbalanced in Marvel's favour again. I don't even read comic books. Capcom superiority, damn it.

I'm not really sure how well that trailer/pitch/whatever holds up beyond the initial novelty. I mean, I had as much of the "Yay, it's Reptile! Yay, it's Baraka! YAY, IT'S SCORPION!" reaction as I'm sure anyone who grew up with Mortal Kombat did, but once that wears off, what has it got going for it? If they actually set up the plot like that then I can't see how it'd be anything other than 90 minutes of dudes beating the shit out of each other. Again. And that would be fine if the fight scenes were particularly impressive, but I wasn't really blown away by the one they showed. As for the game, it's nice to see that they've come to their senses after that "Kustom Fatality" travesty, but aside from that I'm not holding my breath. Fighting system just looks like a bunch of same old, but with one fewer plane to move in. And a gimmick for the dial-a-combos. And it doesn't give me much hope that Kung Lao's fatality, as cool as it was, has just been recycled from Shaolin Monks.

All I can say is "I hope this isn't a screenshot LP", because otherwise you're going to be sorely disappointed when you discover that this forum only allows a maximum of four images per post.

Let me say first and foremost that I'm not concerned about the actual quality of the rapping. It's a joke song, so it's not supposed to be any good. (You're also not going to get it unless you've played "Riviera: The Promised Land" at some point, so don't worry about that either.) All I need here is for someone to help me make it sound less terrible from a technical standpoint. I don't really have a good ear for audio balance or sound quality or anything, and I wouldn't know where to start working on it if I did, so it's probably better that I have someone else clean it up for me. Let me know if you're interested, and I apologise in advance for subjecting your ears to the trauma.

When you think about it, that almost kind of makes sense. Pokemon are a big equaliser, after all. Yeah, if you pull a gun on some kid, maybe he'll run away. Or maybe he'll bust out an Alakazam and spitroast your brain. You can never be sure unless all his mons are out of commission.
