Hey crew, Just got BFD3. Wooooow. Been working with it non-stop. It's fiddly, but gosh, check out this result for cool, naturalistic 'heavy' drums: https://soundcloud.com/anonfemme/anonfemme-everyone-cares-when-its-too-late I am in flavour country. They're pricey, but recommend-o!

https://soundcloud.com/kekopro/aegis This is a theme for someone bred for brutal, mindless warfare but who ends up discovering and then fighting for his own passions and beliefs. Your thoughts are kindly and greatly appreciated!

New wave-pop song I wrote/sang/created inspired by "Exotic Ethnic" from DDRMAX. I played an electric upright bass on this. It definitely was an interesting experience. https://soundcloud.com/vanityangelfixx/arabian-night

Hey OCR, We just finished our most recent piece which is a medley of SNES RPG themes...well almost all RPGs...we tacked on Final Fight for good measure Feedback of any kind is appreciate as always. Although I should state that the spoken work sections were intentionally placed as this was used for a podcast and we wanted to include some fun soundbites from the show. I don't know if this can be submitted here because it's multiple games involved in one piece, does anyone know? Either way...enjoy and here are the included themes: Lufia II - Final Battle Chrono Trigger - Undersea Palace Earthbound - Giygas and Pokey Chrono Trigger - Final Battle Final Fight - Ending Theme http://megalixir1.bandcamp.com/track/you-confront-the-abstract-art

Hey! Just for fun, I took a shot at making a few tunes I believe would fit the old arcade racers from the 80's and 90's. I tried to recreate the general style of the time, with all its cheesiness and badly sampled instruments. https://soundcloud.com/fredrikdronen Have a listen to "Midnight City Course" and "Cabriolet Cruisin'", and let me know what you think!

The last time I posted here was around November of 2013. A lot of school/work stuff coalesced, and as I got busier, I felt less inclined to "jump back in" to OCR. Essentially it got harder and harder to put aside time for music. I switched mostly to FM-synth chiptune music, and still continue to make those types of tracks (see my soundcloud profile). 1+ year later and while the circumstances haven't entirely changed, I figured I might as well do my best to continue to hone my music craft. I welcome any and all feedback, since I really do care about getting better at mixing/producing (on FL Studio; I still need to update my FL10 to the latest FL). I would like to get together a portfolio or demo cd one of these days. These are three disparate tracks, but they are some of the better ones I've made this past year: Underhanded Foe -RPG boss-style track. Pretty fun; this one was floating around in my head for years before I committed it to FL. Conflict (Sea Zone OST) I would really appreciate some feedback here. This is part of an album I will be releasing that I have been sitting on for some time, but I need to tweak things around to make sure the sound quality is good (on a few tracks at least). Intro to the Living Legend Another album idea in its formative stage. I don't know if it will blossom into a 10+ track album like Sea Zone above. I tried going for a bit more sweeping and "epic" sound while still sticking closely with synthesizer sounds. By all means, take a listen and mention what you think works, or does not work. I am going to try to become a bit more active around these forums again, and actually try to get a mix posted one day (an on-and-off dream I've had for over a decade now, lol). Thank you for your time!

Not sure if's different enough to be a remix? edit: Original: edit 2: there's many versions of this song so it's hard to say which is the original except the actual FF1 version, I don't know which one I had in mind, probably the FF8 version since I've listened to that OST most recently.

HOLA! I took a request from a guy on twitter (DeucesWildMedia) to remix Kirby's Dreamland 3. This is what I came up with so far in a Jazz Fusion style, with some hefty influence from (with supah bass playa Jaco Pastorius) while combining the style I used in a previously posted OC ReMix belonging to Chimpazilla and I. Apparently "Flower Garden" from Yoshi Touch & Go fit rather well so I put it in too. Thought I'd let you guys take a look rather than work on it in private =P Feel free to chime in with any suggestions. I'm thinking of incorporating a drum solo after this, then maybe I'll taper off the dynamics and slowly build it back up, using some notes and ideas from the first breakdown section. finished "A Life Worth Living" - A Theme of Adventure
Neifion posted a topic in Post Your Original Music!
https://soundcloud.com/kekopro/a-life-worth-living This is a piratey/adventure theme for a hardened man who starts out in a dark place, believing life is meaningless, but ends up finding action, romance, and a place to belong. Hence the turning point about 1/3 through the song. Your thoughts appreciated! -

Hey, MikeViper aka Young Prodigy here. I wrote a new song "Fairy Forest". I would describe as being similar as something you would hear in Secret of Mana. You can listen to it here: https://youngprodigymusic.bandcamp.com/track/fairy-forest

finished Mega Man 3 - "The Jazzassin" [Shadowman]
Nostalvania posted a topic in Post Your Game ReMixes!
Hi everyone! I'm currently working on a jazz remix of the shadowman theme. Here is what i've got so far (still unfinished). I'm not so sure about the transition at 1:32. Btw, my very first remix was also shadowman and i would say this probably sounds a little bit better than the first one (i hope) Source: http://youtu.be/OAwZS6Ksw0Q Remix: http://tindeck.com/listen/bwhj -Markus -
Some time ago i have arranged my own version of the 90s PC-Game "The 7th Guest". Hope you like it =). I really loved those games as a kid and still play them today on the mac. I made the motivs a little bit different than the original and in another key. https://soundcloud.com/pianopossession/the-collector-tribute-to-the-7th-guest
