Given that they said they were introducing another Payload map, I'm not surprised either.

Mmm, I must have missed that announcement... or skimmed over it. I do that sometimes.

gold rush and gravel pit are the most heavily unbalanced maps imo

most of the nonsymmetrical maps are unbalanced but not to any noticeable degree

Every few days I've been requesting suggestions for a map rotation, and nobody really gave any other than claiming that the current rotation is good enough. I'm going to reiterate it right now:

cp_dustbowl

cp_badlands

pl_goldrush

ctf_2fort

tc_hydro

cp_dustbowl

ctf_turbine

cp_gravelpit

cp_well

Well, with rtv it doesn't seem like rotation is as important as it was. I like it though, good variety and distribution of the different game types. Maybe have Gravel Pit a little earlier to not have the offense/defense maps so close to each other. I also might be up for replacing the second dustbowl with pl_dustbowl or pl_cave_b6 just to have another pl in there.

The new heavy minigun looks interesting... does 25% less damage, but slows whomever it hits.

Which makes the minigun much more useful against ranged Pyros in addition to the classes Valve listed, I'd think.

I kinda like 'em, I think. All of them seem to be focused on doing what Heavies do best - eating damage, helping medics, killing things. It doesn't seem like you'd have to go as out of your way to get some achievements as with the Medic and Pyro ones.

Pyro ones you didn't have to go out of your way to do either. I got pretty much all of them during the course of normal gameplay, except maybe the axe ones which I got during some melee only sessions when there were like 5 people on the server.
