shishikyuu Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 in case no one made a comment about this; at the end what yorda says is su..ki.. she is saying (at the end of the game) in the boys own language (yes, that's japanese) that she loves him. absolutely awesome to end the song with it I must say. Wow...that really is cool. I just downloaded the 9 minute version of this song, and if it's anything like the 6 minute one, I'll be beyond happy. Another awesome song by SGX. Quote
cjshamrock Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 This is my personal favorite remix. Subtle and beautiful. Great work. Quote

Wait. Wait. I was pretty sure Ico spoke a fictional language too. Edit: Oh and yeah, nice remix, yeah! Quote
Myst1278 Posted July 7, 2006 Posted July 7, 2006 I finally decided to make a profile on here, so here's my first comment. This is one of my favorite tracks on the entire site, and has been on my MP3 player for a good year straight, even before I got the game. And now I've found the full version of this song. Thanks! aakapaisiiwa Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 clearly she did not say suki.it sounds more like 'sen - e' and she says it almost like that is the boy's name or at the least acknowledging his presence-- seeing that she opens her eyes and looks up at him... .perhaps someone is a little overzealous for a ico/yorda pairing? it does sound a lot like save me, so i guess that's how the remixer named this song. awesome remix btw Quote
sgx Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 I know she doesn't say "save me" and that isn't why I named it that. The original music is from the save couch, and you have to save Yorda, so I named it Save Me. Double! Quote
aakapaisiiwa Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 i never said she said save me either. anyways i was thinking of binster's "icon" remix that has what yorda said in the beginning of the mix. sorry. Quote
Rafajafar Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 Great mix!!!!! I cant think of one thing I dislike about it. It makes me want to find a copy of Roar of the Earth and remix Shadows of the Colossus, actually. Quote
Dhsu Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 Ok I'm confused now, but I wasn't mad . binster used the same voice clip at the beginning of his mix that you used at the end. I dunno if this was intentional, but makes it really cool to play them after each other. Quote
watkinzez Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 Was it only the PAL version that translated Yorda's speech on the second playthrough? I should probably do that one of these days. In any case, the mix. I actually don't listen to this version much, preferring the uncut version. Either way, both songs are great pieces of work. Transporting. Quote
nepsus Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 I don't think I've said it already, but this mix is utterly godlike. I prefer the original edit but this is good too. Two thumbs way up high. Quote
anosou Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 I must say I love SGX for doing this. The source tune is one of the most wonderful little melodies I've ever heard, thanks for giving it the love that it deserves. Wonderful remix. Quote
MechaFone Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 This mix makes it up there in my all-time faves. The pounding melody keeps me going when few other mixes do. I've been known to dance to this remix. At work. In plain sight. And I'd do it all over again, so long as this mix keeps playing. Quote
yosefu Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 This remix to me is very inspiring. All what i can say is WOW, so thankyou for this mix. Quote
OceansAndrew Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 A really nice treatment of this one - It takes a pleasant and innocuous melody and serves it up with a lot of cool additions. I really liked the breakdown with the bass synth and the hand percussion; it was a great touch and sounded pretty sweet. Overall a good mix, I enjoyed it a lot. Quote
WesternZypher Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 As the day I first heard it. One of my most favorite remixes. Quote
duskvstweak Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 I've never checked to see when this was made. Considering how long ago it was mixed, I can't believe how great it still sounds. One of my favorites, played at my wedding reception. Love it! Quote
