Sonic the Hedgehog: The Sound of Speed - History

There's a comment floating around how they didn't like the sound of the 'generic samples', judging from the trailer. Naturally, I thought to myself, "Harmony & DrumUltima, looks like the jig is up."

Huh, the comment I saw was about how their song should "always be done in a dance style"... where's the one you're talking about? And I can attest to the fact that you CAN dance to their song.

Also I love this comment: I USED TO THINK OC REMIX MEANT ORANGE COUNTY REMIX, CUZ I ASSUMED THAT'S WHERE THEY WERE FROM, BUT THEN I REALIZED OVERTCLOCKED IS MORE UNIQUE. STILL AWESOME ARTISTS IMHO.

This. When I heard it, I could imagine a slightly-faster bolero going on, which still makes it danceable but not in the form the average person may expect :)

Okay, which of you guys slipped in something related to Sonic CD? That was a surprise seeing *that* game listed as a represented title as well. :<

Either way, this is looking good for the release :D

that would be Mr. BoX. ;-) you used a couple master system themes too yeah? that'll be listed as a represented title as well when all is said and done. :)

Both. It's not like everyone is going to cover ever past present good future bad future version of every level. So you let them pick and choose.

Sonic CD clearly isn't a very popular game to remix though.

ScrewAttack gave Sonic CD the #1 Best on the Best/Worst Sonic Games. If you released one, they'd be happy.

I wouldn't mind a Sonic CD album, but it wouldn't be my next choice for an album. I can't decide if that honor would go to Super Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart DS, F-ZERO, StarFox, or either of the first two Super Smash Bros games.
