Wow, that's intense. He was a pretty big figure in music - it seems like more and more influential figures seems to be passing away, nowadays.

That's because we only judge a music icon by how long they've been around.

I don't mean that rudely, thats just why. They're gettin' older, and many do not take care of themselves the way their sallaries should.

None of above comment is meant to apply to Les Paul, btw, I'm just directing it to your sentence.

The electric guitar. The multi-track recorder. Electronic echo.

A true legend has passed.

Les, a fellow redheaded rocker, was born in my home town of Waukesha, Wisconsin. He was my hero growing up. Can't wait to get home and do a little strumming on my own Les Paul in honor of the man himself.

RIP, Wizard of Waukesha.

It took me a second, but I get what your saying, Meteo. I'd say he took damn good care of himself, considering he lived 20 years above the average life expectancy of a male.

Oh yeah, 95 is a damn good age to live too. I'm just applying it generally.

It is sad to see them go, but I wish we had more of an "out with the old, in with the new" philosophy to it.
