We're hoping to use that as the main theme, so to bring it to a full circle at the end as part of a medley (that particular FF3 track is short on its own). So...you sort-of want to have any prominent melody/motif from the Lost Odyssey track strung throughout other songs then? I think that's pretty cool. Almost a subliminal message, except it's music instead of something like "EAT MORE PIE". If I'm totally not on the right track please let me know. I think that'd be quite cool to have, as a requirement, some small melody section incorporated into every song from the project's "main theme". Edit: I just re-read OP and saw the "incorporating it is fair game, talk to co-director" bit. Anyways, my pitch of an idea of having a small melody from the track in every song still stands. prophetik music Posted October 2, 2009 Share Posted October 2, 2009 if i get really into it, i'll take a notable fragment - probably no more than a few notes - and work them into a 'medley' of sorts. it'd be pretty artsy, though - you'd have to know that they were there to recognize most of the clips, since otherwise it'd be a horrid combination of random pitches.
