friendlyHunter Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 I wonder if there's anyone in the world who likes Dou more than Bass. Or likes Duo at all. 8-bit Bass!! :3 Quote
Schwaltzvald Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Huge Boner in my pants. Is that a cannon in your pants or are you just happy to see me..? Quote
LuketheXjesse Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Bass please. -------------------------- Quote
The Author Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Is that a cannon in your pants or are you just happy to see me..? Lets just say I now have Topman's weakness in my pants. Quote
lazygecko Posted December 10, 2009 Author Posted December 10, 2009 Sheep Man is likely a reference to Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep (the novel Blade Runner was based on). Quote
Avatar of Justice Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Well, here's for hoping for a PlayStation 3 release since I don't expect to own a Wii anytime soon.. I wouldn't expect Nintendo Power to say anything about the other consoles. Quote
chivesontheweb Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 I'm still working on Mega Man 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 so I haven't bought 9 yet. Eventually I will, regardless if I beat the 8 games before it but I want some more retro Mega Man experience beforehand. When I go to buy Mega Man 9 I'll probably get Mega Man 10, so that simplifies things. Quote
Schwaltzvald Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Sometime after seeing , I wondered if this is how Drillman should have been fighting back in MM4. Perhaps keeping the explosive drill bombs as well while ninja diving between the ceiling and ground; not to mention manipulating said ceiling and ground...Skip to 3:45 to see what I mean. Quote
Devyn Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 That's a tough drill man. He's all over the place. So, does anybody think that there will be another lady boss? I'm hoping for more awesome music too. It's going to be hard to top the tunes in Mega Man 9. Some of that stuff was up there with the first three games. Quote

The Damned Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 I loved the Pokémon RBY "item acquired" jingle at the end when he got the new power-up. Quote
BardicKnowledge Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 Loved MM9 and can't wait for this. Also looking forward to 8-bit Megaman 8. Quote

EC2151 Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 It's going to be Roll for the new character. I just KNOW it's going to be. Also, I too love the boxart. It looks like they had a lot of fun making it. And yeah, the casual shooting of that robot had me laughing. I am also sure there'll be another female Robot Mistress. A bunch of people on another forum I'm going to are trying to say that the Robot virus in this game is what leads in to the X series and all... Heck, until they started bringing that up, I didn't know there WAS a Megaman timeline. EDIT: Yeah, I was wrong. Looks like it's going to be Bass. http://megamanx9.com/index.php?subaction=showcomments&id=1260464939&archive=&start_from=&ucat=& Quote

The only thing more frustrating than failing at a megaman boss for that long is watching someone else fail for that long. Learn to aim! Oh yeah... Haha, just days ago I was playing the SNES game that that stage's song comes from. Key word: SNES Quote

JCvgluvr Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 What's with all the Mega pr0n in this topic? I'd expect that stuff in gamefaqs, not here. I'm definitely excited for this release. I'd absolutely love it if Bass was the 3rd character, but I wouldn't be surprised if Roll ended up taking that place. *groan Maybe if we ask Capcom reaaaaaallllllllyyy nicely, they'll give us the timeline continuity we're looking for? Quote
Poke'G Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 Two player Megaman? It's about damn time! (Power Battles doesn't count) I hope Capcom comes to its senses and gives us the true mega buster and power slide. 9 was nice, but it just didn't feel right. I don't care how good Mega Man 2 is, those two moves became Mega Man staples. Quote
Schwaltzvald Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 What's with all the Mega pr0n in this topic? I'd expect that stuff in gamefaqs, not here. You sure have a very puritanical view on what's pr0n. Must be talking from experience on your end because the last time I've ever visited gamefaqs have been five years ago because I couldn't figure out Silent Hill 4 at the time. Nonetheless, be it Bass or Roll, so long as the game is awesome along with the music, it can do no wrong. Co-op sounds something a rom hack would do, but it's great to know there's a chance of it happening; hopefully it will work flawlessly. as usual, have some megaman, Quote
lazygecko Posted December 11, 2009 Author Posted December 11, 2009 I was kinda hoping for Dr. Light as the third one. Like how you could play as the doctor in MDK2. Quote
Schwaltzvald Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 I was kinda hoping for Dr. Light as the third one. Like how you could play as the doctor in MDK2. I'm actually not familiar with MDK2, or maybe I am and just don't remember it... Quote
lazygecko Posted December 11, 2009 Author Posted December 11, 2009 The premise of MDK is kinda similiar to Mega Man. A scientist creates an advanced armor suit, and lets his janitor use it to save the world from the bad guys. Complete with his dog sidekick. In the sequel you could also play as the scientist or the dog. Quote
