Fishy Posted October 5, 2011 Author Posted October 5, 2011 I'll see what I have but it feels a bit redundant given there will be a trailer. If I can find one or two tracks where 30 seconds out of context are epic without ruining too many surprises we'll see. Apologies for the delayed deadline pms/emails, moved back into University this week. Should be with you shortly.
Brandon Strader Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 Starting another semester eh? Are you going to be around?
Fishy Posted October 6, 2011 Author Posted October 6, 2011 Short answer is yes, Brandon . I haven't had my own computer for a bit for irritating reasons. I can check this stuff every day now. Two new joiners today including old school returner Main Finger. Plus sir knight of the round picked up something new. Final deadline is January 12th. Caught a skype meeting with the staff for once (3am in the morning, amurika bias) and this is definitely the earliest eval slot. I will be pming/emailing this just to make sure. Once I've sorted a few track confusions up there will be an updated list this weekend. Also I'll be redoing a track now that I have me Uni facilities back again. My previous bedroom recorded with shitty samson mic track with Andy P will be professional studio standard now, woo!

Oh yeah, you missed the part at the meeting where we scheduled a whole bunch more albums for the next three years just to spite you. So there. Disclaimer: no we have not done so it is just fun to irritate the man with the funny accent at times. We are not spiteful and indeed are working our asses off to keep this machine as efficient as possible. Gnarly Fantasy, dude.
Brandon Strader Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Not three new albums, Stevo? But the Gameboy one right? That one should be hella good This one should be hella good too. Thanks for the update Fishy I look forward to that list update. If things go smoothly I could easily see myself doing 1 or 2 more tracks
aerialknight Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Just dropping by to express my amazement and happiness from discovering that there is a FFIX remix album in the making! I am eagerly waiting in anticipation for the release of it. FFIX is one of my favorite FFs out there; don't let me down, guys!!! xD This will be epic. -reeeeeeeally looking forward to Immoral Melody and Dark Messenger remixes in particular, haha- The most I've seen of those 2 songs elsewhere is rock renditions. Anyways... THANK YOU to all the awesome, talented remixers that make these albums! It would never happen without you guys! :'D
Archangel Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 -reeeeeeeally looking forward to Immoral Melody and Dark Messenger remixes in particular, haha- The most I've seen of those 2 songs elsewhere is rock renditions. Hehehe, I'm the one who made that mix. =D Thanks for the support. I hope I live up to your expectations! =D I've only heard some of the songs from the album, but I think it's going to be a real treat!
Emunator Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 I might be interested in mixing something too once you update your damn tracklist
Brandon Strader Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 I might be interested in mixing something too once you update your damn tracklist Fishy! Tracklist! Heheh...
Cash Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Can't wait for this album. Definitely my favorite Final Fantasy soundtrack. Good luck to everyone involved, you're music is much appreciated.
Archangel Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 Thanks for the support, Cash! I hate to toot my own horn, but my Prelude arrangement just passed the panel and I'm very happy about it! It's my favorite arrangement to date (among my own tracks, of course) and I'm really glad it'll get posted someday.
KnightOfTheRound Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 Nice work Archangel! I can't wait to hear it. I was told that my mix of "Assault of the White Dragons" is going to be a direct post, and I couldn't be happier. I hope everyone is as excited about this album as I am!
Fishy Posted November 6, 2011 Author Posted November 6, 2011 (edited) Ok here are all the changes I just made: Now free: Steiner's Theme Fairy Battle Chocobo Theme DARK MESSENGER Now Taken (all with wips already): Prima Vista - Calum Kuja's Theme - Larsec Song of Memories - Archangel + Claire Yaxley So if all of those tracks are done, plus dark messenger which is my only remaining 'must have' track, that would be 50 tracks. We're also possibly in need of a fairly speedy nylon string jazzy guitarist for one track if anyone has the skeelz and the means! Edited November 6, 2011 by Fishy
Brandon Strader Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 I would do 3 of those.. not le Choco, noooo. I was talking about Fairy Battle before but considering what's there, maybe you have a preference for something more pivotal. Regardless if nobody else is coverin' them in time I'd like to take a crakka-lakka at all of them. Except Choco of course, noooo.
Fishy Posted November 6, 2011 Author Posted November 6, 2011 Fairy battle and dark messenger I think there are other avenues I'd like to go down. Of those I think I'd be most interested in hearing you do Steiner's theme. Hows that withcu? Btw, should have an up to date wip bundle uploaded shortly... for the mixers obviously.
Brandon Strader Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 (edited) I was going to do Steiner's theme as an orchestration... I suppose I could do eet. Hopefully it'll be heavy as fark even though it's orchestral and not metal Edited November 6, 2011 by Brandon Strader
Fishy Posted November 6, 2011 Author Posted November 6, 2011 Well that didn't take long. Dark Messenger is filled again.
KyleJCrb Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 If he actually finishes it, I'll be amazed.
Inferno232 Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Brandon, I'm so glad you took on Steiner's Theme. I'd high-five you if I could.
Mirby Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 I'm happy with the current lineup here. Although isn't Quad Mist actually Tetra Master?
