Fishy
Bloody refs. We had a goal disallowed for no reason as well. And a defender got a yellow card for being fouled :/. Oh well, least we're both through.

Fishy
what goal? the only goal we had disallowed was clearly offside Oh I just watched the highlights again, was thinking of a different chance when we were clearly onside but missed anyway. Still they were pretty much in line for the goal. 50/50 imo, a different linesman could have given it. Then again some of these linesman have been making some pretty interesting decisions. Kizyr
My HEART is BREAKING right now ;-; That was... intense. I rather wish I'd been able to take some time off and watch the game across the street or something, but, eh, work and all. KF
Fishy
Something absolutely ridiculous is happening at Wimbledon. Football is now irrelevant. Isner vs Mahut The 5th set is currently at 59-59, 95 aces each. The match is over 10 hours long. Mahut has served to stay in the match 57 times. This is insane. avaris
Looking at the Brackets: http://soccernet.espn.go.com/world-cup/bracket?cc=5901&ver=us One of these 4 teams will be in the Semi-Final: Uruguay South Korea USA Ghana AND will have an opportunity to play in the World Cup Final or at least for 3rd place. I was watching that - absolutely ridiculous. Tennis history right there folks. The match has been going on so long that they suspended it for the second day in a row due to darkness. Also I saw the US bracket earlier - we have a pretty good shot I think at the semis, relatively speaking. I don't know what I'll do if there's a South Korea vs. United States quarterfinal though . Arcana
Germany and Ghana both make it into the round of 16 after the results of today's matches in Group D. Australia won its game, but Ghana had a much better goal differential. Looks like this might be the only group where there's been a game won by every team. Tensei
Ahahaha Ciao Italia This is the best worldcup. I seriously would've broken something IRL if Italy advanced on 3 draws though.

JJT
Nice to see the Yanks wake up in the first half, and the English wake up in general. Looking forward to the round of 16.
avaris
Italy's out!?!?! O_o? now, thats a surprise! Historically yes...but not with that team. On international level, teams should realize they need some attacking players with a little bit of flair and creativity to unlock teams and break down their spirit and determination.
