So we are thinking about about putting a couple of mods on the OCAD server. Once Iconomy is updated to 1.5 compatible, we will be standing that up. Our vision is to have players able to buy tools, and certain items from the server's town hall, to make getting started easier. You can take the tools you buy to mine and setup shop to make money selling the items you mine/find to other players or to the town hall in golds case. using that money you can buy land that you will be able to mod how you like. The end goal is seeing city-states of players banded together stood up. If the Iconomy is a hit, we will be adding Steamcraft, which adds new items and stuff to the game. With the exception of the Ethereal crystals in it being craftable into tools, as unbreakable tools break the game. We will either take the crytals out, or make them like oil, being able to sell high to town hall for huge profits. Or maybe we will use Industrial Craft, which just got updated for 1.5 We will also be adding Mo' Creatures, Mo Foodz, and Mo' Creeps which adds new mobs to the game. Some peaceful, some not-so-peaceful. If you'd like to give us some input, let us hear it. Most of the time, like with Industrial Craft, client wont need the mod. I am pretty sure Steamcraft requires Client and Server though, which sucks. Quote

Netherrack mining is lightning fast with as little as stone. Actually a cheap pickaxe and a Flint and Steel - and maybe a couple of buckets, if you want lava - are all you need. Quote

Level 99 Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 Server timed out around 5-ish PM. I was in the middle of a French lesson, then when I went to restart it, inventory was broke. After 10 restarts and a settings reboot, all was well. Sorry for the incontinence. Quote

Sadly, Industrial Craft is too buggy on 1.5 with Mod loader, so we have to forgo it for awhile.
