KyleJCrb Posted May 6, 2008 Author Posted May 6, 2008 In the case of this, I'd rather wait until it's done.On another note, what do you think Motoi Sakuraba would think if he ever heard the project?? I know that it's possible to email him... Which is something we might do.
Bundeslang Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 It would be nice (but hard) to have this released on the 28th of May, because of the 3-year anniversary of the first post. Really nice it's (almost) finished, great job all for keeping the energy and time to finish it.
SephAguraki Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 I know that it's possible to email him... Which is something we might do. Ooooh, that would be awesome.
Dhsu Posted May 7, 2008 Posted May 7, 2008 "Wow, that Dhsu guy is awesome, like it's not even funny how much he rocks." Nah, I am sure Sakuraba would approve of the ridiculously high levels of ROCK'N in this project. \m/

Nah, I am sure Sakuraba would approve of the ridiculously high levels of ROCK'N in this project. \m/ I guess the only way to know is to actually email him By the way, how about putting a timer on the project's website? You know, like the one for Persona 3: FES not too long ago on official Atlus website. The timer would count the time to the final deadline and after that moment is reached, the estimated time remaining to the actual release (that way people will hopefully wait in anticipation for a release that may or may not be released at the given time, instead of asking "is it out yet mengz?")

Not gonna promise any release dates at this time. Not even estimated ones.
SephAguraki Posted May 8, 2008 Posted May 8, 2008 So...we can think of it like a game that's been in development for several years, then all of a sudden went off the radar?
KyleJCrb Posted May 9, 2008 Author Posted May 9, 2008 Think of it like a GTA4, or better yet, an id game. Summoning of Spirits Forever.
SephAguraki Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 Summoning of Spirits Forever. May I further inquire about this "Summoning of Spirits Forever" you speak of? Or is it say...a play on the name of the project as if it were to be a game? And I was thinking more along the lines of Mother 3...but that's a really low blow, since this will actually be released...IN AMERICA!
Dhsu Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 Yeah, there is a planned Duke Nukem sequel called "Duke Nukem Forever" that has been in development for over 10 years. So when anything takes a long time to get released, people start calling it "________ Forever."

Dhsu beat me to it, but here.
SephAguraki Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 OOOOH! Right right. I see what you did there. I've just gotten into the whole Tales fan-made fighting game scene...got a bit confused there.
Incronaut Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 This project is probably one of the best ideas since Chrono Symphonic or whatever it was called! It better pull through to the finish
RyuMizuchi Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 This project is probably one of the best ideas since Chrono Symphonic or whatever it was called! It better pull through to the finish I would risk a statement that due to colossal anticipation of the masses, this project doesn't have any other option but to pull through to the end xD
Subz1987 Posted May 10, 2008 Posted May 10, 2008 Nope, sorry. Project's canceled. In other news, Rockstar has confirmed the Wii version of GTA IV to be released alongside the Wii version of MGS4.
Pavos Posted May 10, 2008 Posted May 10, 2008 The only goal of this project was to raise awareness of the Tales games in form of soundtrack, so that more people would remix those themes. After 3 years, we thought that we feel that we can't keep this going any longer. Nonetheless, we think that we succeeded in our mission, because Sixto for example already has an OCR approved ToP remix. Sorry guys, all a hoax EDIT: Let's put it this way: If this project takes more than a year, kill me. I just had to quote this one... sorry Kyle

It came up at this time in '06 and '07 too. Still waiting for death.
SephAguraki Posted May 11, 2008 Posted May 11, 2008 All this talk of the project being cancelled...impossible to believe. Would've made a GREAT April Fool's joke though.
KyleJCrb Posted May 11, 2008 Author Posted May 11, 2008 All this talk of the project being cancelled...impossible to believe. Would've made a GREAT April Fool's joke though. We did it two years ago. I myself actually believed it when DarkeSword deleted the thread, fooling me into thinking he actually believed it was really cancelled.
