BardicKnowledge
For those that are yet to see on Facebook, we had our first baby, Owen Walter, yesterday evening. He is doing extremely well, and we couldn't be happier. I'm trying to piece together a whole bunch of lullaby pieces to play during sleeping time. Any suggestions for OCRemix tracks that will work for this purpose would be helpful. I know that Brad Burr (prophetik) will also soon have a baby on his hands, so I'm hoping that there are a few other sets of new parents I'm unaware of for whom this thread might be useful. We'll have pictures up on Facebook later today and throughout the week, for those of you interested.
k-wix
Hey Bardic, two songs popped in my head right off the bat. The first is one of my favorite OCRemixes - 1188. Might not be exactly what your looking for, but it's a wonderful listen~ *swoon* http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01188/ The 2nd is actually an original song I wrote. Without going into too much detail, It was from an upcoming indie game that never came to be..the soundtrack is sorta stuck in limbo and I never really released any of the tracks. Anyway, one of the tracks was supposed to be a lullaby type song. Again - might not be what your looking for, but feel free to check it out. http://www.kwixmusic.com/6_Alices_Lullaby.mp3
Rexy
When you said 'lullaby', this was the first thing that came to mind. In fact, you can't go wrong with most of Iggy Koopa's material; very calming, gentle, and sometimes minimalist too.
Emunator
I'll share a small selection of remixes I use to put myself to sleep, so hopefully they'll work in your case too! Congrats on the little one http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01208/ - Eutopia Pegasi by The Wingless and Destiny http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR02058/ - Magic Fountain by Nixdorux http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01404/ - Dragon Song by Harmony http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR02225/ - To Far Away Inspirations by Squint (or any of his other remixes) http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01859/ - The Rose General by katethegreat19 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFkK7ZScjF0 - Sleepless Nights... by me (Shameless plug, but I performed this song with the intent of it being used as a lullaby so it fits here!) http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01839/ - City Corner Lullaby by Jennerstein http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01357/ - Under a New Moon by Sephfire and Fatty Acid http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01748/ - While San d'Oria Sleeps by Kabukibear Anything by Pot Hocket - http://ocremix.org/artist/4721/pot-hocket http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01428/ - A Rose for Zelda by Tepid http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01318/ - Symphonic Ballade by GrayLightning and Bladiator I'm getting tired listening to all this... I may drop in and leave some more links later, but this is a good sampling of some of my favorites! Hope this is what you were looking for! Ptazza
http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01957/ A fine place to live, FFX Besaid Island, hell it's source material might do fine as well I use it myself. http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01031/ May Fortune smile upon you, MGS2 Fortune's theme. Nice and gentle acoustic piece http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01363/ Beyond Midgar, FF7's main theme, might sound a bit sad but very gentle. http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR00811/ Another FF7 main theme mix, not as gentle but more positive than the last. http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR02330/ Wind Waker Mix, focused on the Ocean theme. Possibly a bit too positive and loud but it works for me. http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR02183/ Gusty Piano in a Garden, lovely little piece should work. And while it's not from here... Check this group out with some of their more mellower covers, don't think they have download links or albums so you might need to youtube rip them. Mirby
Congrats!! You could probably use Amphibious's Oceans EP; it's original, but it's soothing and relaxing.
DusK
No mention of Rena Lanford of Arlia Village yet?
DarkSim
Congratulations! Seeing the title reminded me of this remix I made that I then forgot about... it's the ending theme from Mario 2, intended as a lullaby. I must go back and finish this off at some point! http://tindeck.com/listen/ugtc
Kanthos
Not a game remix, but this. Will didn't need lullabies much, but this was the first piece of music he listened to. Also, from the Link's Awakening: Threshold of a Dream project, try Iggy Koopa's "Oceanfront View (House)".
OceansAndrew
James wouldn't go to sleep without powerglove, or anything with double bass drums. He liked the clicky sound on the kick of the FF7 Snappleman/Norg collab too. While i'm not quite saying that your baby was born to rock, it may be the case; so keep that in mind. Rexy
James wouldn't go to sleep without powerglove You know, you seem to be the most awesome dad ever if things like THAT happened to your child.

Zen Frazier
While this isn't OC ReMix, I love listening to the Dustforce - Fastfall OST from Lifeformed with my baby girl. So relaxing we both end up falling asleep during naptime (not that the music is boring my any means; it's really great stuff! - but being a new parent = endless tiredness. Sleep comes when it wills. ) http://lifeformed.bandcamp.com/album/fastfall
Xenon Odyssey
I wrote this arrangement of Sonic 2's Race Results as a lullaby of sorts a few years ago:
