Spotnick Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 Oh god, suzumebachi has entered the building! Haven't even realized that you're gonna remix anything from it. Remember you're tune from Rise of the Star which was badass, so good luck on this one
klm09 Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 Would it be possible to see a list of tracks currently not being done for this project? So that people could maybe chuck WIPs at zircon?
Sixto Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 SINCEREST APOLOGIES FOR MY LATENESShey sixto, wanna guitar? all i needs is a guitar solo. Yeah, I can do that. Just let me know what you need.
zircon Posted November 9, 2006 Author Posted November 9, 2006 Would it be possible to see a list of tracks currently not being done for this project? So that people could maybe chuck WIPs at zircon? The list grows shorter by the day, though a few things are surprisingly open (like The Birth of God, and the main theme itself).
klm09 Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 If Birth of a God is still open, I'd definately be interested in contributing a metal remix of that. I probably won't be able to get anything significant done on it for a while, but.. what say you? I could put together a demo of some guitar + drums + bass to show what kind of production quality I can pull off if that's of interest.
herograw Posted November 18, 2006 Posted November 18, 2006 Does this mean I gotta play FF7 now so I recognize the music? I'll have to look for those CD-Rs. mmm... sure is hip to not like popular music.

ipoopupoop Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 at least one from me SirNuts for the win!

klm09 Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 If Snapple's already doing it.. I don't think I could do much better. But I'll make a short demo WIP as soon as I find the time.
zircon Posted November 20, 2006 Author Posted November 20, 2006 Of course I liked Snapple's version, but as I understand it he lost the project file awhile back. Haven't heard an update for 9 months.
Fishy Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 I was already putting something together with sephfire hopefully for birth of a god :/. Haven't mailed him in a while though, I have an intro promo guitar track ready but thats it atm.
KyleJCrb Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 This project seems to be roughly near completion, much like Summoning of Spirits. What is your intended plan for a release date, Zircon? It wouldn't be good for our two projects to release near-simultaneously.
zircon Posted December 4, 2006 Author Posted December 4, 2006 It's not going to be soon. We have a little over half the tracks done, plus we haven't even started on a website of any kind.
KyleJCrb Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 It's not going to be soon. We have a little over half the tracks done, plus we haven't even started on a website of any kind. Ah, okay. Not as far along as I was thinking (judging by the track remixing contest). Cool, then.
SnappleMan Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 Considering both projects are pretty much waiting on me.... :\
Thin Crust Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 I'm new to this site, but are site projects available for the public use? Will they be on the individual remixs pages? Or will I have to find them on some sort of projects page?
avaris Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 You'll find them on their own seperate web pages. They are linked from the the site. Some of the remixes from the project will be featured on OCR depending on who wants to submit and what gets accepted. Go to the projects tab at the top of the page then albums to see all of the projects that have been released. Also on the front page of OCR you can see pictures wuth links to the moost recent site projects. Such as Project Chaos and Blood on the Asphalt. Welcome dude.

zikon Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 This album looks very promising in bringing more awesomeness to OCR. With some of my favorite remixers (sephfire, pixietricks, SnappleMan, DarkeSword, and zircon) that will insure that this will be a favorite album of mine. Plus all the other remixers joining in. I can't wait till this album is finished and released. Keep up the good work guys.

Ayres Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 I would just like to continue to say that I support this idea and look forward to it's completion. I hope things are still progressing. Maybe even faster since people might have more free time over the long Christmas break.
zircon Posted December 21, 2006 Author Posted December 21, 2006 I hope so. Also, a little something to tide you guys over... clip from one of the finished tracks, a take on "Red XIII" and "Cosmo Canyon" that Sixto and I did. http://www.zirconstudios.com/redxiii.mp3 Enjoy.
Barnsalot Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 *Drools* That's an incredible track, Zircon (and Sixto too). Cosmo Canyon is one of those tracks that really needs to be done right. I'm looking forward to hearing the full thing.
Ayres Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 http://www.zirconstudios.com/redxiii.mp3Enjoy. I would like to re-iterate my eagerness for this project to reach completion. I both support and wish for all good things in regards to this project.
