timaeus222 Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Ah I wasn't sure if the show would cover non-posted stuff, I guess it will? That is good! He has some OCR album stuff unreleased on the site *yet* (or forever, if we're talking MM25). =p Quote
Mirby Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Can't wait for the sephfire episode, sephfire Quote
Melbu Frahma Posted May 1, 2014 Author Posted May 1, 2014 Can't wait for the sephfire episode, sephfire ^ Seriously, EC's Youtube channel is pretty much one of the only reasons I bother pulling up Youtube these days, between all three shows, and I'm really looking forward to getting introduced to some new remixers through it. I'm think I'm going to keep a running list of episodes in my first post too, just for the hell of it. Quote
OCR Podcast Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 It's so cool to see Extra Credits branching out into spin-offs and new shows. I think what we need next is a cross between Extra Remix James Recommends-- a show in which a bunch of fascinating, under-the-radar video game soundtracks are examined. Sephire, are you writing this down??? Quote
ectogemia Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 An episode covering your 1 remix would be awesome Right, right, my entire body of work is represented in my one remix on OCR. Quote
Rexy Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Say, did you copy this "artist featurette" thing from when I started it on SEGA Mixer Drive back in January? That said, yeah. I'm on the ride too, and I hope to God that the Rexy eposide will be a good one when you get to it. Quote
Brandon Strader Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 I'm holding out for the Liontamer episode. until then? Quote

djpretzel Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 New Extra Remix featuring djpretzel!http://youtu.be/cUKoU82iSMM (Also... McRIB!!!!! http://youtu.be/CXaxexfWlkA) Really love the show concept. YT comments were interesting... some folks didn't know I run OCR, which I guess means I'm doing something right, since it's not supposed to be about me. A few people dinged it for OMG TOO MUCH OCR and suggested Smooth McGroove had done more for VGM. Oh well. Comments notwithstanding, love the show, love the format, and muchos gracias to Mr. sephfire for the kind words! Quote
Brandon Strader Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 McGroove has done more for auto tune awareness than vgm... At least in my eyes... Quote
Phonetic Hero Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 some folks didn't know I run OCR Some folks also still think "ocremix" is a person's alias DAMN, THAT DUDE IS PROLIFIC Quote

psycosulu Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 I'm rather curious about who Extra Credits will pick next, they've made solid choices so far. Quote
Arrow Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 I'm rather curious about who Extra Credits will pick next, they've made solid choices so far. - They covered something pretty familiar, it turns out. Quote
KyleJCrb Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 OverClocked ReMix? Never heard of it. Sounds like a bunch of amateurs that only do shitty techno/metal covers with vocals. Quote
Ivan Hakštok Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Damn, I love that DJ OverClocked ReMix guy, he always makes great remixes. Quote
sephfire Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Thanks for the front page treatment, djp! It's been too long since I had something on the OCR home page. Quote
