timaeus222 Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 (edited) Fun fact: The only compressor I used was the butt-ugly-sounding Fruity Compressor. Oh yeah, and the title is a reference to somethin'. I'm glad you guys were OK with the source being in much of the bass. xD Edited July 24, 2014 by timaeus222 Quote
Chernabogue Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 Super nice remix, from a game I really love! And congrats Chris & Tim for being posted! Quote
Crulex Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 That synth work is freaking gorgeous in this arrangement. Lots of energy, good intro and outro, enjoyable breakdown and switch-ups, this mix nails everything I love about a ReMix just on the writing standpoint, let alone the arrangement itself being awesome. Damn good ReMix from you guys. Quote
OCR Podcast Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 This ReMix manages to keep the mysterious, alien quality of Metroid Prime alive while simultaneously being a boatload of fun. 2:14 had me grinning. Quote
AngelCityOutlaw Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Glad to see that people like this remix! Quote
Uffe von Lauterbach Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 I wasn't expecting this to go all out. The intro seemed pretty mellow and then suddenly drums. Pretty good remix. Quote

VinnyMac Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Another fine ReMix from Metroid Prime! The progression of the track is ingenious in my opinion. It keeps you entertained, making you guess what's going to happen next throughout the piece. Quote
Black_Doom Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 While this mix neither is dubstep, nor rock, it perfecly combines funky guitar chops, aggresive synths & bass and big beats, creating a heavy, massive soundscape that is definitely fun to listen to. Great job, guys! Quote
