The Orichalcon
I'm rather surprised that the show is still going, with no apparent signs of cancellation. It's been what... ten-plus years now? and contracted for another 5. Given how well it rates, I don't see it ending for a long time. Even if it's cancelled, Matt and Trey will just move the show to the internet. They've made plenty of money to feed off and continue their art. XZero
According to Wikipedia, they are doing a Guitar Hero episode this week called "Guitar Queer-oh." Work is going to be a bitch after that episode airs, assuming this information to be true. Last year, when the WOW episode aired, sales jumped up for about a week or two. With Guitar Hero still popular, and this episode exacerbating the situation, I expect to sell tons of Guitar Hero games this weekend. Mustin
YOU ARE FAGS!! [sigh] Thank you, South Park. Thank you. P.S. - I fucking hate guitar hero
sephfire
I almost feel as if this episode is aimed squarely at me.

Airwalker
Not quite as epic as the World of Warcraft episode, but it was a decent South Park episode. The typical South Park humor that I love.
I-n-j-i-n
Nice jabs at serious Guitar Heroes players, but it almost felt rote. It's like they re-did their sports-movie parody. I loved the part where the kids were thinking the game's cooler than the real thing. Because that is the actual opinion now.
Citris
I'm rather surprised that the show is still going, with no apparent signs of cancellation. It's been what... ten-plus years now? Jesus, you're right... I remember my parents let me stay up past my bed-time in middle school to watch the first episode together when it aired. They ROFL'd hard at the "Somebody's baking brownies" joke.
Calpis
YOU ARE FAGS!! [sigh] Thank you, South Park. Thank you. P.S. - I fucking hate guitar hero As much as I loved this episode, I still don't understand why some people despise Guitar Hero. I mean, I know it's not a replacement for the real thing but that doesn't make it a terrible game. Now, what does piss me off about GH 1 and 2 is the shitty vocals/censored vocals. (I hear that's fixed in the new game.) Anyway, my favorite part was the kid playing Jordan "acoustically" at the cafe. "Oh! I love this song!" I mean, I know it's not a replacement for the real thing but that doesn't make it a terrible game. Opinions. They are a bitch But in all seriousness, GH1-3 are as subject to opinions as every other series out there. Some folks hate it, some love it, and others simply don't care about its existence. It's just part of the gaming landscape.
Arek the Absolute
The game itself is fine. The thing I don't like about it is when people think that it is superior to the actual guitar...so in a sense, I don't hate the game, I hate people. Ya, that sounds about right. Harmony
Nice jabs at serious Guitar Heroes players, but it almost felt rote. Totally agreed.
sephfire
If it pleases and sparkles, I'd like to nominate yesterday's episode "hilarious."
Mustin
I liked how classic it was. Lotta classic stuff happened. Very... classy. I like it when they get back to the kids being kids. As much as I love the political satire and the mockery of current events and pop culture, their genius is really showing the kids being kids. And Abraham Lincoln. Calpis
I agree that this episode was awesome. Just as I start to think that maybe I'm getting bored with the satire and commentary, they go back to stuff like Stan puking in Wendy's face and Kenny dying. I loved it. Kiyosuki
This really was a great episode, and not just because it had so many throwbacks to the older seasons. Stan barfing...Kenny dying, even the way the main kids acted had an older feel. But just in general it was very fun to watch, it feels kind of like Matt and Trey have reached this point...and they decided to make something to reflect back. Kinda like making an episode to reflect on where the show's gone since it first started by making an algamation ep of all the qualities of the different periods of its life. Wish the Simpsons would follow suit, though I rather liked the Emohouse episode last Sunday.

I-n-j-i-n
Season started as 'meh' then 'lol' then 'WOW'. The creative staff is amazing for keeping up for so long. I hope they can at least do another 10 years before stopping. It'll be pretty sad to see South Park go once that happens.
OptimusShr
This and the AIDS episode are the best of this one. Rest has been kinda meh but still with some laughs.
XZero
Last night's episode was overwhelmingly mediocre. I read in a review once that this season feels like South Park by Numbers. It wasn't particularly funny overall, and had some downright boring and stupid moments. Of course, since it IS South Park, there was some good stuff in there as well. It was a Randy episode (he's one of my friend's favorite characters), and he's usually good for some great material. I felt that the best moment was when he was discovered in the building with the computer after he finally got access to internet porn. A great moment, but it didn't save a mediocre episode. The story just wasn't fleshed out as much as it should have been. It feels like there was the potential for some really good gags, but either due to time restrictions or possibly laziness, it came out bland. (especially the ending)
OptimusShr
Except for Randy getting caught it was a big meh like most of this season so far.
