WesPip
For some reason, surfing on the back of a stingray seems fun. But not if you're Steve Irwin. hee hee

The Damned
I just now noticed that in that stingray pic, the water isn't just some sort of river or something, it's a floating stream of water that curves around and above itself. And there's no ground underneath it. So that means it's floating in space. Which is awesomer than before. Now I really have to get this game. MasterSenshi
A-FREAKING-MAZING!!!!!!!!!!! I need to stop reading gaming mags so much... people are saying things like "Nintendo can't keep up production". One look at this, and I can say this will be my first Mario purchase in a LONG time. It's finally nice seeing Nintendo put itself in order again. Now make more Wiis and software copies!
MasterSenshi
About the pics, is turning into Super Mario 1 Mario some powerup, or just fan-service or something? Anyway, it's still awesome.

If you're talking about the first pic, mario's more in the center of the pic not the 2D one on the left. Looks like its something stuck on the wall. Penfold
people are saying things like "Nintendo can't keep up production". On that note, Nintendo's latest Wii commercial that I've seen seems to try to put a positive spin on it. I saw it several days ago, starts out with a mom and her kid at a checkout, having just bought a Wii, with a voiceover saying "Wii finally got one," followed by several other random "Wii..." scenes with other people playing Wii Sports. Struck me as kinda interesting when I saw it (as well as thinking it's a pretty effective commercial).
BardicKnowledge
Still can't believe that the Wii was sold out for more than 30 weeks following its release -- that's gotta be a crazy record. With the holiday lineup as good as it currently is, it's poised to claim even more market share.

KWarp
I'm confining myself to Mario Galaxy, Zack&Wiki, and maybe NiGHTS or Mario&Sonic if either game scores well. 2007 is sweet gaming bliss.
Alpine Flame
I dunno, it was pretty dry earlier this year... maybe that's just me though. Penfold
I wonder if Battalion Wars 2 will be as short as the first one. Not that that would be a deal-breaker, just kinda curious. Anybody happen to hear anything on that note?

MasterSenshi
Were it not for class, I'd have Metroid by now. :/ Anyway, with Smash out of the picture for Winter, I'll have to satisfy myself with Metroid Prime 3, Mario Galaxy, Fire Emblem, and likely some kind of party game. I have to admit it, Shigeru is right when he says everyone can enjoy these 'non-games'. Add a few friends or family and you have a whole evening of fun. Ray Falling
We have a lot of great stuff coming our way indeed Sadly 3rd parties are still having a hard time producing proper games, but that's old news aye. Certain games are sort of starting to slip under the radar though...Like, whatever happend to Final Fantasy CC (not the Wii Ware one), or Tales of Symphonia 2? Even Kirby and various others I can't remember now just seem to be gone-ish. I'm hoping to see these and more back soon so i can update my wish list Apart from all the crap we're getting and the long waits, I have to say these are the most exciting times for videogames since the GameCube! Even Kirby and various others I can't remember now just seem to be gone-ish. Sadly enough, I fear that the original Crystal Chronicles has either been transformed into the Wii Ware one, or has been forgotten completely. Which is a shame, because the Gamecube FF:CC was actually pretty damn good, both in content and execution. Honestly, who didn't have a GBA, and know at least one person that owned a Gamecube? I had two GBAs, and everyone I know had at least one each. Between the six of us, four owned Gamecubes. Any way... As for Tales and Kirby... sometimes games just slip under the radar and mysteriously vanish. It's happened before. Besides, Kirby games haven't really gone anywhere since Super Star. Kirby Squeak Squad was literally more of the same. Only Canvas Curse did anything different, and honestly, they could have not made it a Kirby game and it would still stand on it's own. Sad times for some of the old Nintendo franchises...

Sad times for some of the old Nintendo franchises... I loved the Cube FF:CC too I'm pretty sure the Wii Ware game is a stand alone game though, but then again, you can never be too sure. You're right about sad times for old franchises though ;_;. I been thinking about that a lot too. I think what happens is that Nintendo is trying new things...experimenting, to keep things fresh. And while that in itself is very good, I can't help but feel a lot of franchises are going in the direction where I can't follow them. (Example: Starfox. While I loved Adventures, I was really hoping for a true LylatWars type game and Assault didn't quite deliver that, nor did the DS version.) (Better example: Donkey Kong. DKC was the best series ever, it only went downhill from DK64 ;_ On one hand we don't want same old, same old, but on the other hand, changing the direction of franchises so drastically is a huge risk. And if it doesn't hit right, you have to wait for like 2 years before they try again. On a side note: I do hear that Disaster: Day of Crisis is still being developed . The Damned
Wow... I thought I was bad.... but I problaby would have done the same thing... and still be in the coma from the beating it would have earned me. There were four of us. My friends wanted one as well, but none of them had the money at the time or had reserved. So they "escorted" me in line, both to secure a spot near the front and to protect the Wii after we got it. Although, I suppose I was pretty much just the mule at that point: disposable and expendable.
Bigfoot
Wii Ware game titled Pop. There isn't much detail other than you pop bubbles with the larger bubbles giving you a higher score. I guess you just pop as many bubbles until the timer runs out? Looks like a very simple game. This game better be like $1 or something http://kotaku.com/gaming/gallery/first-western-wiiware-game-announced-311669.php
