Andius
Well I have never mixed a song and haven't taken a music class since elementary but this song pasts my personal test of a good song, in that I skip to it in my library fairly often because I really enjoy it. I have been waiting for a MM remix forever and this does not dissapoint. In my opinion MM had the best soundtrack of all of the Zelda games with the exception of possibly OoT. This is not my favorite song from the game, but the remix is awsome. I don't find it overly repative but acually a good listen all the way through. But I suppose everyone hears it abit diffrently. I personally love it.
Zephyr
I like this mix, but I agree that it probably could have benifited on the side of having more variety.
merrell
I justgot to this song in MM and I said "Hey, I realy like that." The last time I had checked, there were no MM songs on OCR. I then found this and immediately put it on my Zune. Only really good songs go there.
Radiowar
i don't know if anybody caught this but they used this song as a sort of intro thing for nintendo's zelda ds demo at E3 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=77XKcUvaZJY (it's a couple minutes in) yeah they only used like 2 seconds sort of cool though edit: looks like the video got taken down...here is another one, though it only plays for 2 seconds. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DXwzqjg-tp0
GSlicer
Omfg. That's awesome. Thanks for the info.
Liontamer
Now that's a trip. They should have played more. Nice work, GSlice! [sic] Onto the mystery of who got the song in there...and did anything else of ours end up getting used...
SynthesizedStampede
When I first listened to this mix, like the absolute first time, I wasn't really into it. To me, even though it was more upbeat and all, it just sounded much too similar to the original for me. After awhile though, it really started getting my attention, and I discovered that it had been one of my most played songs o_O. This song might not pull you in at first, but it's very catchy and will probably stick in your head for a good deal of the day, if not THE WHOLE day. But yeah, variation would have been nice, but damn just having a MM remix, and especially one of the Stone Tower Temple is already good enough. I guess I can summarize my thoughts by saying it wasn't too spectacular when I first heard it, but it grew on me and is enjoyable.
Darklink42
It's good to hear that a remix of one of the best songs in MM finally made into OCR. And on top of that, a really awesome mix that I cannot find a single fault with. "i don't know if anybody caught this but they used this song as a sort of intro thing for Nintendo's Zelda DS demo at E3" That is friggin amazing. Good job GSlicer. anosou
i don't know if anybody caught this but they used this song as a sort of intro thing for nintendo's zelda ds demo at E3link (it's a couple minutes in) yeah they only used like 2 seconds sort of cool though edit: looks like the video got taken down...here is another one, though it only plays for 2 seconds. Wow! I didn't even know people at nintendo listened to fanmusic O.o Kinda cool, eh? I hope eventually the whole business will have some respect for OCR. Maybe feature songs on events, the composers remixing themselves and that kinda stuff. Weee!
GreyMage
i love the low brass at the beginning and the dance part at the end. the only flaw is that the beat at 00:27 is a bit too loud, especally for my headphone. i always have to keep the volume down low so that it doesn't kill me. i'd give this a perfect score if the beat was toned down a bit i love the stone tower theme. i used to always listen to the midi before i discovered mp3's. this remix brings back a lot of feeling and fun i had when i was in the stone tower for the first time. much energy is packed into this piece from the theme to the end, which makes this even more enjoyable. i made this the finale on my playlist xD
PhiJayy
It's my first time looking in the Majoras Mask section for remixes, can't believe this is the only track. Someone's got to do something about that! About the Stone Tower Remix though: The track is pure goodness! Absolutely love it! Personally, I think the track has all the punch it really needs, bassline is incredible as the judges pointed out. I especially like it around the 2:09 mark, it's very upbeat, accompanied with a great melody from the game. You've got me extemely motivated to finish my remix of the "Song of Healing" Excellent track Gslicer!
SwordBreaker
I don't know why I never get around to comment on this remix. Extremely catchy stuff, GSlicer. Been listening to it from time to time and I love the beat. Looking forward to more stuff from you.
OceansAndrew
The bassline is really good, and the beat is pretty hot, but where is the variation? I liked the production on this, and overall, despite the repetition I think it's decent enough. I enjoyed it at least.
Conan
Interesting! Not your normal adrenaline-rush take on remixing, yet just as good of a listen. A meaningful approach playing the mysterious and elegant cards in a hell-fire groove. Definitely a staple Zelda remix for any fan whether you've played the game or not. chenjesu
WHAT A BITCHIN SONG it's repetitive but who cares the beats are thick and juicy I'll have more any day
Nutritious
Groove bias! I LOVE this track. Sure, it gets repetative, but it's short enough that it doesn't get annoying. The beat is infectious and I love how the bassline moves around so much & interacts with some of the pluck synths later. It sure keeps a lot of interest in the oft-neglected lower end of the mix. GravitySuitCollector
I enjoyed it a lot. Sure, there wasn't much change from the original melody, but it's very solid sound-wise; also, the bass is great.
