    • Mcvaffe out here doing the work of the angels covering the stuff that needs more love. The entire Tides of Time soundtrack is heavily atmospheric, frequently unsettling, and always alien, really giving you the impression of an earth that's not our earth even when you aren't traveling to a Roger Dean inspired good future or an HR Giger inspired bad one. There's a lot of ways to mix this music and have it still be itself but in very different ways. This mix makes me feel like sensory overload is happening, lights and motion and sounds from every direction, much like Ecco must feel when he's going through those time tunnels.
    • Always liked this one. Such a great energy throughout the song, very uplifting and OA always delivers great drums for his songs. The piano is sugary sweet, the guitar is well played and arranged. Sounds like anime music which I love so two thumbs up. People should listen to this one.
    • Some time ago I made a video on some soundtracks that sound like some others (hopefully unintentionally, hence the mention to cryptomnesia). Was never able to share it around a lot, so I though what better than a forum with music oriented people to tell the similarities. Let me know what you think of those, specially the Jason Graves case (Dead Space). Did he ever mention anything about it? (I know Christopher Young was among his influences). All four cases mentioned in the video were found by me while watching movies, playing games, etc.   EDIT: Oh, btw, the Billy Joel part got muted for copyright. There's a link to the song in the description of the video anyway, or you can google it.
    • I've been pretty active in the Doomworld forums for some years now so I've done a number of Doom related music. Here's BFG division reinterpreted as a smooth doublebass-heavy 60s-70s spy song I done a while back. The riff kinda already sounded like that.
    • Hey all, So, I have been in a Street Fighter kick this summer, so I made two covers inspired by the Alpha 2 soundtrack. These were made almost entirely with the Alpha 2 soundfont, which still sounds very good (especially if you are like me and longs for that mid-90s arcade vibe).  You can find them here: Warm best, everyone!
