Speedrunners have gotten it down to under the 1 hour mark already. I kind of feel sorry for them, though--for them to be grinding speedruns in the first week to master it down to that level means they're not really spending time playing the game as intended. Well, to each their own.

You're remix is pretty cool and I can't hear any production mistakes. However the mix is a little too long and the limited material would be better suited for a 3 minute long mix. Good job though ...

Forgot to mention when I submitted my entry that Dewey Newt helped by providing the drums for my song.

Hey everybody, Garpocalypse is nearly done with his Horteka/Ixa'taki remix but he needs someone to assist him in a specific thing: (in his words) some heartfelt Native American Stereotypical Wubba-Wubba's. So if anyone could coordinate with him and record those things for him. That'd be AWESOME. Oh, and do let me know you're doing it so I know someone has answered the call!

Yeah, that's definitely much better. Particularly compare at 3:26 between v3 and v4, and you should hear a difference in the reverb tail; in v3 it's pumping from being too loud against the limiter, and in v4, it's just trailing off like normal. Now that the overcompression is lessened, the master track volume (on the master track mixer slider) can be brought back up (by about 3 dB).

Hey folks. I've decided to continue on with the compo. I'll be posting Round 3 match-ups tonight, and Round 1 and Round 2 music together tomorrow night for voting. For those wondering about my family emergency, my mom passed away last week while visiting India. While I certainly appreciate any condolences you have to offer, please do not post them in this thread; I'd like to keep the thread on-topic. A "like" on this post would be fine, though.
