  1. I like to mention @AeroZ for both the chippy, lofi elements of his arrangements that have been directly inspiring for my own arrangements, but also the amazing cello stuff, 7th Saga album in particular. Shnabubula has been an inspiration for many things, amazing musicianship, improvisational capability (showcased through his VGM Cast streams) and for me as a ReMixer, in particular the creative arranging. Same goes for @djpretzel, his arranging unsurprisingly embodies the interpretational aspect of OCR approach, on top of that I appreciate him showing his love for Sega and also doing less-arranged games (like everyone I'm mentioning). Additionally I've been incredibly inspired by my regular collaboration partners @Jorito and @Tuberz McGee. Additional shout-outs to all the album directors and also compo-organizers such as @Bundeslang, @HoboKa, @DarkeSword, @FenixDown and Brandon Strader - I very rarely finish any tracks that don't have competition or album deadlines at last at one point, and/or collaborators to actively work with. So in a very direct way these people are an inspiration to the tracks I ever end up finishing.

  3. If I may be so bold, this mix wouldn't be too out of place in one of the old Charlie Brown cartoons Not sure how much higher praise I can offer, given my limited knowledge of jazz. This sounds like the perfect song to listen to while seated on a window sill watching the rain. Short, sweet, and calming. Now I crave donuts and steaming beverages.

  4. Listened with my mixing phones. deppend of what you call "clean". It mixed messy. Freqs conflicts, delay/reverb conflicts(freq), panning. All this brings your audio tracks to overlay each other. I don't know what is your drum VST right now, but if it has ability to work with each drum/cymbal/whatever channel it's ok. You can make it sound a lot beter. Make some accent to kick at 2,5-4 kHz(depends of your ears), hipass 30-50 Hz, boost 50-90Hz, cut 100-300Hz, add crunchy distortion(a little). You'll hear a big differents in energy. Work with each part of your drumm kit, don't use presets. Presets sounds great, but as is, without other instruments. If you want to put it to your mix, you have to work with it a lot(making from scratch, more usefull). I'd suggest start from drums and bass mixing. Lead guitar sounds too fake, rhythm sounds even more fake. Don't know piano or any other sample you used, but it totaly sounds like fake guitar to me) As for MM, yes it work very bad with VSTi, but ironicly it has the best midi editor i've tried. I don't use any gtr samples, I use guitar actually. https://ocremix.org/quicksearch/remix/?qs_query=mak+eightman

  5. I think I've mentioned this a lot of times already, but Jorrith is just a beast! There's absolutely nothing that can go wrong when this guy is doing his business! Once again, he created something that's simply stuck in my head. Such a catchy song! The instrumental is actually quite remeniscent of Jorito's "Kill the Groove", I think. A little less aggressive, but the bounce is all the same! And, damn, I just need to mention the vocals. They're probably even a little bit too god for me, haha Seriously, though, both of you should be proud of your work. Mad props for this track!

  6. Oh... This is sooooo cool I really love how this track sounds pretty much like some of the older djp's stuff, but with a modern touch to it and even almost a bit of glitch-hoppish flavor (those drops at 1:09 and 2:28 are hella fun!). Not even going to mention the TJ&E vibes coming from this remix, haha. For some reason, this track slightly reminds me of Bluelighter's "A Kingdom Under the Sea" and djp's "Twoson Hits the Road" and God knows what else. YES, I realize that this one is completly different in terms of genre, but, man, this feels nothing but cute, cozy, happy and warm. So much to love here!

  7. I've played enough of PSIII to appreciate the rhythmic transformation of this treatment ... also I like the shift that is the ending!

  8. Hold on to your taints, folks, or it will explode with excitement like mine did when I discovered this: Holy unshaven eyeballs, does this game look crazy awesome! This is exactly what I hoped to see in the future of gaming from my heyday in the 90s. I can't wait for this to come out and you shouldn't either! Come join me in his vanguard to launch an attack on the programmers and force them to finish it immediately!* * - No, not really, just hyperbole out of excitement. 9. If they were smart, they'd pull a Sonic Mania here and give this guy a job and develop the game to completion. But Nintendo has a history of failing to capitalize on the obvious.

Hopefully they can finish before Nintendo hits them with a cease and desist.
