    Mother 3

Seriously, where to begin? I mean, for the love of pork, there are so many tracks on here just begging for remixes. I haven't even beaten it yet, and already, these four are easily standing out to me: Porky's Theme New Pork City Smashing Song of Praise Main Theme Also, just about any of the 'emotional-cutscene' tunes (sorry that I can't think of any particular names) would be perfectly ripe for the kind of sweepingly majestic orchestration that sometimes graces this site.

  3. @Dextastic Would be an interesting challenge to see if you don't fall into doing electric guitars for the main parts like the song leads / encourages to use. Just like apparently I shouldn't fall to using vocals / vox every time / every song.

  4. Spectrasonics created a bunch of sample libraries way back in pre-Atmosphere days and Hans Zimmer guitars was one of them, and Mitsuda used it in this track. A lot of really old Spectrasonics stuff exists in Omnisphere.

  6. 2002? Really? I always thought it came around the time, hip-hop/trap producers really started to take note. So about 2016 onwards.

  8. Wow, this is different! I mean, I've been listening to the original version of the track since the album release back in 2013 (!), so you can imagine how much I'm used to it And listening to this one just messes up with my brain so much, haha. But I can't say the changes are for the worse here! In fact, I really love some of them quite a lot. The strings sound more clear, you've got a much more varied beat, and damn, that "swoosh" sound effects... I can't help but smile All in all, very solid work!

    Mother 3

Oh yes, definitely; I second this notion. I recently began this game and the soundtrack stood out right away! I was appalled when I searched for Mother 3 and couldn't find a posted mix of it

  10. Wait so did Omnisphere sample it then? If so how could they! It's almost as shocking as me finding out form Deadmau5, that the infamous Vengeance drum packs used by so many producers, are actually old songs ripped and repackaged. Also when another pack comes out, they take the same samples from the previous packs, and modify them ever so slightly. (Hence why they all sound the same....) Seriously though, i thought Omnisphere was original patches, both from users and the guys who created the VST. Side Note: Omnisphere takes up a whopping 72gb of space. Like what in the actually hell, no wonder i can't have it, it's too large....

  11. Wait Chrono Cross was released in 1999... Was Omnisphere really that old?
