  1. So it's been 3 days now. I wore a sweater though I mostly stayed at home. Forgot to take a pic though Also I tried but creating my final demo got in the way of practicing my Bass so I couldn't come up with a remix. I say lets make a mini project and shot to get it done by next year's anniversary. Would be fun to do I say ^^
  2. Wow first off Hausdog, yea....uh, next time please try being more considerate about these things. Joking around with your friends about this and doing it on here where many might not know you are two different things. Anyway Dhsu thats a great idea! If I was better on my Bass I would have composed a piece for it :/ I doubt I can in 2 weeks >< It's great seeing how many people grew up and were influenced by Mr. Rogers.
  3. March 20th would be Mr. Roger's 80th Birthday. I grew up watching his show and so I will be wearing my favorite sweater in his honor. Won't you guys too?
  4. Hehe yea saw the GDC clips @ the awards show. God so hilarious. What made it even more awesome was I met the guy on Thursday unexpectedly. Was playing Rock Band at some audion booth in the "no name" parts of GDC's expo floor and he was there watching. So I says hi and ask if he wanted to play and he took the guitar and we played Black Hole Sun and was awesome. Took a pic of him afterward (couldn't get me in the shot cause he was in a hurry).
  5. Played the english Version @ GDC. Was awesome though only let us play with Wiimote mode. Also only one Nunchuck and one Classic Controller per TV (there were 3). Wiimote mode is fun to play and not too hard. I would prefer this to play with my younger family members if I ever do play it. Played as Lucas, he's so awesome. Was funny, it was the retail copy, so every once in a while after a few VS battles we would get a new challenger screen but the Nintendo people would grab the wiimote and reset the game and/or delete the save file. Can't wait for this game to come out.
  6. Most game publishers see their AAA games as 9-10's in the scale of 10 and if didn't make the score the big hats aren't happy. Lately Ubisoft's big games haven't been rated as highly as the PR, Stock Holders, CEOs, and/or etc have wanted and the 4.5 score by one of the reviewers (and somewhat average/above average score from the other 2) apperantly broke the camel's back for Ubi. No one cares about Mortal Kombat any more so theres no real loss there and Sony's Sports games never have been to the quality that EA and 2k have brought forth so again no real loss either. Also the problem is Ubisoft makes a lot of crappy games to make money for their bigger games. And most of those games do suck, and are often called out by 1up/EGM in jokes and stuff. Most don't get reviewed but I'm pretty sure Ubisoft isn't happy about those games getting those low scores either. And Gamespot might be biased but the people who actually run the show and write are pretty cool guys. They seem like a close family, just the higher ups that suck.
  7. So yea surprised by no posts of this game so I assume everyone is out there enjoying and prancing around the fields of joy and pleasure with PSP in hand. Anyway all I can say is holy s&@$! This game is awesome. Its like the MM remakes but without the crappy slowdown that plagued them. Not the prettiest 3D but damn looks so nice. And plays just like the original. Its as challenging as the original, well maybe slightly easier but still fun as hell playing an old school Castlevania again. I somehow unlocked the original Rondo and it runs fine. Some have said there slowdown, might have seen a bit myself but hell its just fine what I played. Of course SoTN is unlockable with unlockable Maria and a few new things (though they changed the English dub and translation so no more funny qoutes ). I still need to unlock this though. From what I see the game has lots of replayability. Hell $30 bucks for both versions of a game we haven't seen in the US and a updated SoTN is a hell of a deal. I highly recommend this for all PSP owners out there.
  8. No we're not. Usually Nintendo Sunday releases are on that exact day. Weird day too since its mostly their consoles that are released on a Sunday.
  9. Hoshi no Kirby: Ultra Super Deluxe. This is actually a remake of the 1996 Super Famicom title, the site reports, with new stages and three new mini games. The game doesn't even use the stylus for its controls. Based on comments from the development staff, it seems like you'll earn new mini games as you clear previous ones. from IGN's hands on with games at the conference. http://wii.ign.com/articles/826/826640p1.html?RSSwhen2007-10-11_122000&RSSid=826640

  13. Right sorry, heres another pic: Anyway this was announced at Nintendo's event today along with other DS titles. Details here: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=197943
  14. Holy crap holy crap holy crap Possible remake to Super Star?! Hype +9000
  15. We have a weiner....haha yea your right it was a typo for gay. But now its been adopted to mean a badass character. http://www.lurkmore.com/wiki/index.php?title=GAR
  16. The typical update is around 3am EST (12am PST or 4pm JP). Its not always a set rule as some updates are late 10min-hours sometimes. But yea, 3am EST.
  17. There are 2 subbers that have completed the series past Ep16 where Black Order left of at.
  18. So I just finished watching this great series that had recently ended in Japan. Honestly from the looks I was expecting a Eureka Seven type of anime. Surprised as I watched and didn't stop until it was over. Everyone of the characters was interesting, had his or her purpose for the show and were memorable. The mechs were unique and pretty cool for being just faces with arms and legs most the times hehe. It had a nice mix of serious tones and comedy and IMO its low points were still pretty good compared to other animes. Oh and the soundtrack is just as awesome! The animation style and overall design was cool (unique eyecatchers per episode too). Yea the story becomes kinda ridiculous but its all in a good way. I liked the ending too. I tried my best to keep things spoiler free for now though. This is definitely my pick for anime of '07. So anyone else saw it? What are you impressions? I seriously recommend people to give this a shot. ROW! ROW! Fight the Power!
  19. HOLY CRAP @ FFIV DS video! I WANT THIS NOW!
  20. Problem is Retro ain't working on the series anymore. They are done with Metroid and Samus and probably for the better. What holds for the next Metroid title no one knows. Probably that damned Metroid Dread thats been rumored for years now. And honestly I don't trust anyone, even Nintendo remaking the old 2D Metroids in 3D. It just won't work cause those games weren't made for 3D. A lot of the things you said, Space Jump like the 2D ones, etc only work in 2D. Once you transition to 3D it breaks.
  21. Ah so he's finally back. Oh well my interest in this series was pretty low before he took the break and now its just meh. Got lots of better web comics to read.
