In short, you want some add-on/widget/plug-in that logs every single song listened to and by who..?
-
I actually do have spare 320GB drive but I didn't know I could use vertualization. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/winfamily/virtualpc/default.mspx This be the program aye? That being so, I'd be trying the damn thing and testing other floundering distros.
-
alright I'll be checking it out asap
-
Nothing wrong with suggestions but that doesn't answer my question at all.. To be clear... Is it safe to run a distro, such as Ubuntu, on my current PC, despite it already has Win XP pro installed. Will I be able to try the distro out without killing the PC and its content?
-
So yeah after some recent threads I've been interested in trying out Linux, the thing is I realized there are quite probably innumerable amounts of "distros" out there, some popular, some perhaps not even seen the light of day unless googled. Is there a way I can run a "LiveCD" or what I've learned as a cd/dvd that I can run as a bootable OS on my WinXPPro system without killing the pc and the contents it has..? I am more interested in building a system specifically for Linux but since I don't have the new rig yet I'd at least like to try out a distro before installing it on the new rig...
-
yeah but I felt obligated to say it In any case aside from the goofball looking movies d-wars,RE3:E and the samurai movie are all pretty much all I'm gonna look forward to...
-
*cough*samurai jack*cough* seriously though I'd give it a try

Some motherboards, when u buy one retail from a shop like newegg, sometimes would include a poster of sort to tell ya how you should put the components together for your PC. My BOXDG965WHMKR LGA 775 Intel G965 Express ATX Intel Motherboard came with one and was very simple and easy to understand.

Creating a website: text missing in frames, help!

Makes me wonder why there is no tool that helps translate what CSS is written for IE into Firefox/Opera/Safari etc... In other words, a tool that creates a standard interpretation for all browsers... -

Isn't it enough that it's supported by the major ones? (IE,Firefox, Opera, Netscape and Safari) -
Why did they even bother to if they left OB#1 alone..?

For those that have not seen them yet Resident Evil 3: Extinction http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7fscibPnCGs Dragon Wars aka D-Wars The third RE of the movie trilogy looks promising, not much else to say except it looks like they're making more of an effort compared to RE2:A D-War's looks like a solid monster flick yet I suppose I have to see it to understand the involvement of snakes lol... Edit* In Dyne's comment about the RE movies ought to have been closer to the original game's story, I'm was actually glad it didn't as I'd rather play the GC/DS/PS1 version of RE than watch a movie. I like how they decided to try making a new story on the evils of the Umbrella Corporation and the consequences of their illegal work being leaked in one the worst case scenarios involving illiegal biochemicals/weapons. One can argue that the Silent Hill movie, much like RE, didn't follow the original story and may not have been recieved as well as those who know the series (played the series) could have been. The first RE in its own way introduced the plot to newcomers much more easily than SH while still being enjoyable to watch.

Are the Resident Evil Outbreak Files #1 & #2 servers down or are they still running...?

It's not so much the abundance of blogs, but the content and whether people take them seriously or not in a good or bad way. Take for example the blog/comments attacking Resident Evil 5 for the supposed "racism" within the game. While the author has posted his/her opinion/view people did leave comments on their thoughts that argued against it. Blogs are a good thing in that people become informed; for the better or worse as it all depends on the content and mind of the readers. I'd be for it if it was free though... Tshirt/hoodie I can see reasonable, for blogging... eh not so much considering the alternatives...

If you're interested in buying id games you're better off getting the CD/DVD software rather than through steam... At least this way you can say you have a hard copy and not have to rely on a crapshoot of a distribution system. (some games work for others some don't)

fuck yeah!

A while back there was a thread of recommended shows to try out. One of them being Hajime no Ippo (if there's one for tennis there ought to be one for boxing right?) Well I stumbled upon this trailer... I feel it has great potential to be an awesome game; especially if it can give me that same feeling that Mike Tyson's Punch-Out did back then.

Kentucky Fried Cruelty (aka SMB Peta version)
Schwaltzvald replied to NeoForte's topic in General Discussion
I've decided to hold off the emailing as well (aside from not wanting to be noticed at work for outside activity), Zircon's explanation more or less made things more understanding than my personal hatred towards PETA... edit: Doulifee made it even clearer that's what I DO NOT WANT to happen... -

I'm writing an email to their legal department to see what they have to say... It's one thing for us to complain and state our concerns about it; it's another to try something... Where to send it to I am not sure. According to the their website here's their legal department --> *edited to be sure first* Note that it's for Nintendo of America. Also yeah I'm curious about their thoughts, mainly because I see it as a way that is promoting and issue that Nintendo itself I doubt would stand by with and also may as well put a C&D on the grounds of not wanting to be associated with the garbage that is PETA... -

I know, for the most part at least, petitions (on-line in particularly) don't really seem to work. Would one work in this case..? Not sending it to PETA but to Nintendo...? Note* The info about Mario and Luigi's likeness used is actually news to me since I couldn't actually play this defamation of a game at work. With the goal of giving a sort of sucker punch at PETA from the Gaming Community, would it work? -

As much as I agree with The Damned and also would like to see Nintendo crush PETA, I don't see it happening; at least not as easily as I'd like. There are tons of rom hacks out there along with rip-offs/clones of SMB on flash sites just as there are clones of Pac-Man... Is there a way Nintendo could even sue or shut it down; and if so what grounds? I don't really care about the "game" itself, but if there's any way to put some butt-hurting on PETA I'm all for it. -
http://www.blackviper.com/ May help you with Vista... Also you probably should have at least gone for Premium Home at the very least... I don't really see a Vista "upgrade" being necessary until much later, especially with compatibility issues with various programs, popular and best-kept-secret-ones, are still being resolved....

There fixed
