I got the entire valve collection of the half life games including HL2 and you can play them offline. The catch is though you still need Steam to run, just in offline mode. This is assuming you've already registered... The only thing I actually like about it is that even if I should ever lose my retail cd copy, the games are all tied to my account. If I reformat but want the games back and cant find/dont have the cds anymore, I can just download it onto my pc with no issues. As for your problem, can't you just set up a lan system to your higher end PC? Or better yet simply move the higher end PC to the internet accessable area..?

Verizon -At work so I'll edit this message when I get home with the speed info... I do remember though I'm just paying around $29.99 with unlimited download (seriously torrenting about 15gbs as of now nonstop ) I'm happy though as I'm able to torrent while playing EVE or FEAR Combat with no slowdowns. I also like to give a big FUCK YOU to Comcast for providing shitty services. To avoid any possible flame war on IPs emerging from here, I just didn't like Comcast after a few months with them; lets leave it at that.

In other words they have a program or system in helping those who live too far away from the work place, move closer to said work place. Meaning moving out of your current residence to a new residence close to the job... This is however under the assumption that you are hired and such...

You said your area sucked and wanted to get out but had no contacts or the money to do so... Think of those manufacturing jobs as an entry thing... to get yourself aquainted with work... At least they ought to have programs for continuing education where you can learn more skills... Not to mention its more worth while than what you're getting as of now. Best of luck though

In terms of Starcraft why are you playing via hamachi when Bnet still works? Just join the same region and play against one another there. Though if its way too much of a hassle to register there, or there are "other" reasons, have you and ur friend did a fresh reinstallation of Hamachi, settled on a ping to use to have a virtual lan game? Are both games the same version you both play?

Ask Angelic as he couldn't start it up normally, though I think it's a gimping thing about Ipods, needing itunes program (confirm/deny?) Heck where was that thread that talked about the RockBox? I know it had the guy with itunes issues... In any case I got lots treasures to share in other threads when they pop up...

I got friends that like it too, yet one and I think another member of the OCR community had a bad experience where it royally fucked up their organization or some similar result as that. Nonetheless I got no real issues with the player/music organizer except when it doesn't work; I just got lots bones to pick with the music shop seller portion...

I haven't bought music for years, except classical collections due to them being very cheap. Fuck ITunes, they never seem to have anything worthwhile and sadly only a few if anything on the radio sounds actually good... I personally have an insignia 2gb mp3 player. Does the job well with little to no hassle. It doesn't even need programs like Ipod seems to as it just does what it's told via button pressing. Assuming we share similar tastes in music (meaning anything beyond itunes) I can hook you up with some... access to harder to find stuff.

To me it looks just the same as the Terminator font except a bit flatten/widen. Haven't checked yet if there's a font like that as I'm at work. Later today I can try unless some one else gets it before I do.
