I need new controllers myself (I am on GCN, but controllers still make a diff). The cushion on them came off (bought the system off of a friend; used). I should be getting a Wii this month, now that I am working.

I feel a lot like how you do about games. Besides, I am a creative person, so I can't spend my time enjoying someone else's creation for long periods of time. My only reason for enjoying video games is to catch the experience, if you know what I mean. It's about a vibe, the vibe of enjoyment, but I can't/don't/won't play games any more than a few hours in one week. I find myself playing games for the sake of competition, but that's about it. Even then I have to put the stick down because I long to be creative.

I still haven't played Chrono Cross, but I will one day.

Kinda' why I prefer Sheik and Samus (though Samus in her suit isn't a speed demon). MetaKnight was my first used character in Brawl the day it came out). One of my faves for a given reason: speed, be it attacking or running. Silent Mike, your D-air with Ganondorf that put Mario in hell was tight, especially since it was over the cliff.

Threatfire worked well but gave me speed issues. Make sure not to use McAfee; it just made my computer many times slower. I had gotten it b/c I could get it free with ATT internet service, but then got rid of it b/c it sucks. I'll try Avast and AVG.

The tier list here is much better than SBR. I mean, c'mon, Mewtwo is difficult to use and can't fight certain people well without skill, luck and a miracle, but he is NOT, and I repeat NOT worse than Pichu. I am sorry, but hear me: I used to like lightweight characters, but no, I couldn't enjoy Pichu long; he / she / it is the setup of death, even worse than Jigglypuff, who has the sleep attack as a makeup for her exasperating stats. Common sense question: damaging oneself with one's own special attacks??? Yeah, I could kill with Pichu, but by the time I KO someone I have to be on guard x1000, saving my thunderbolts for worst-case scenarios at 169% As Pichu, I am already easily knocked out and targeted by hateful clowns who think it's funny to kill mice, and the only offense / defense I have is to chew on their ankles and rush a few charges through their bodies while making myself vulnerable in the process. With that, my best escape method (quick attack) hurts me too, so I am 99.9% likely to take damage, with the exception of a fight with a standing dummy in practice mode. Thanks, Hal, thanks. Man, you just made my day, 'cuz that just killed me!

I will make it clear that I am joking when I make a joke, even if it's not funny. I'm really not trying to flame here: if something I say sounds nuts, it's because I am joking. I wasn't really "posting for n00bs"; I was... joking. Specifically, I was laughing about how my friend overuses the B moves. Show me the redundancy. That's why I asked.

You know, I have always had a bias against King DeDeDe since I've played Kirby Superstar. You have now kindled the fumes of prejudice that I have against DeDeDe. I have seen a tier list saying that Deed was a top-tier character, if I am not mistaken, but... well, maybe he's only good against certain people because I've seen him get whooped so many times it isn't even funny. In fact, some kid tried to use him against my Sonic... I never got hit + I wasn't that good. Who is Deed good against? Slow characters? Little weak ones that aren't fast? I'll look online to see how and when he wins. Simply said, practice makes perfect. I forgot Wolf's rank on the tier list, but I liked using him a lot (seems to be good + it actually takes skill to use him). Basically a stronger-yet-slower fox; brings that pain, and his style makes up for his lack of speed. My theory called "Cancellation": There is this rule about certain characters not being able to beat others (unless somebody sucks). I don't know if I saw an impossible situation in your circumstance (i.e. Fox vs Mewtwo (Melee), which I've heard it's possible to beat Fox with Mewtwo, but with a very hard-to-do method), but for the most part, there are those few who just cannot beat certain characters (even if "just cannot" = 90-99.9% chance). I found it funny that every time someone uses C . Falcon against Mewtwo (and only if you're good with Mewtwo because being horrible w/ Mewtwo = give up), the result is ROFL. You would think that C. Falcon would dominate b/c of his speed and strength, but he becomes predictable. His cancel isn't that fast (correct me if I am wrong), he has no projectile moves, jumps suck, tends to be open a lot (defense isn't as good as Fox, Sheik, Marth or Falco, the top-tier characters for Melee), and as a result, he ends up being whooped the same way a normal pokemon (we're going back, y'all!) would be challenged and / or canceled out by a psychic. (newbie Joke removed) Note to ALL noobs: B moves are specials, whether or not they are killing moves. Even if they are killing moves, they do not get the job done 100% of the time. Question: I know that the Master Hand is in Brawl, but what about the Crazy Hand? Are there any more new top villians? On a side note, I remember when I first played both hands and couldn't win. Not a problem now, depending on what character I use. Jam: Yeah, Roy is slower, and I knew off-the-back that his recovery sucked in comparison to Marth. He runs fast, but his moves are more slowly anticipated.

PHIRE B GUD 4 GROOPIE! No, really, Marth and Roy are practical destroyers. Their weaknesses hardly matter at all (unless they're going against someone with strong enough of an advantage when used right). The problems usually arise when they need hang time, but their swords make up for that. Using them is somewhat like combining Link and Sheik (with Peach's defense, minus her aerial advantage). I'll have to use Marth/Roy again in order to see how quickly they recover from B-Up. Of course they're left vulnerable when they miscalculate the timing of B-Down. Even though Marth and Roy make fights easier, that can only be so when they're used correctly. Use them wrong and ROFL! Especially Mr. "Roy's our boy". PHIRE, lol.
