  1. http://www.teamfortress.com/scoutupdate/index.php Yeeeeeaaaaaaaah.
  2. Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis! Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indiana_Jones_And_The_Fate_Of_Atlantis!
  3. Tira in SC4, just because she's so damn annoying. I also really like the bipolar mechanic that she has, even though it could have been implemented better.
  4. I thought the clarinet was pretty cool... But uh yeah it was nice to see the server active last night!
  5. ATTENTION Atmuh's server moved. New IP is 63.210.145.134:27015.
  6. Versus XIII looks really really good. I heard somewhere the combat will be Kingdom Hearts-esque? If so that is a MASSIVE plus for me. Stop making me want a PS3, Square.
  7. I like this more than the main thing:
  8. I'm not sure if this was the intent or whatever, but the map's pretty wide open. As it stands, a good sniper can pretty much dominate, while pyros and heavies are mostly useless. Every game I've played it's been a contest of snipers, soldiers, and scouts, with the occasional spy thrown in to mix things up. Although given, the biggest games I've played there have been 3 vs 3's, so maybe things would liven up a bit with more people.
  9. Sorry guys, I had (have) a pile of work to do over the weekend and don't have much time for silly videogames. Next time, though!
  10. Game looks awesome. No PC demo, though? For shame.
  11. Gonna have to chime in and agree that yeah, a once a week OCR-only lockdown would be a good idea. If only to try it out. I pretty much agree with everything that's been said by those annoyed by [ZUZ].
  12. Fun map last night, with the two buildings. Downtown, I think it was called? It's got a few issues but I loved how fast paced it was. That one game, where a Kritzkrieg'd soldier blew the hell out of three of us on a control point, winning the game by a hair? Good stuff.
  13. Pretty sure my first game was Super Mario World. I vaguely remember playing it over a babysitter's house. My first console was an NES, though. The N64 was probably already out by the time I got it. Honorable mentions: Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis (first PC game), DKC 1 and 2, Clay Fighter, Mario 64, OoT.
  14. Well there IS an irc channel for this exact purpose called #clanocr on the enterthegame server. You guys should totally jump in! It's what atma would want I would totally play some Smash but I'm currently stuck with my college's terrible wireless connection. Working on getting that remedied though.
  15. It runs just fine for me. Using VBA 1.7.2 on an XP machine, I only really get slowdown when there's a ton of sprites on screen. I find that if I hit A a little bit faster than the heartbeat I can usually get 2 hits, but rarely get more than that. If I try to be perfectly in sync I usually get nothing, except in the fight against (minor spoiler) the ghost maestro guy, who I was somehow pulled off a 16-hit combo against, just by following the beat. ...So I donno what's up with that.
  16. Well, son of a bitch. Reading around on Smashboards I accidentally found out who the final boss is. Spoiler tags, people, come on! ...Anyway. So far I've encountered just one grammar screw-up SPOILERS: When you're in the castle place after discovering that the needle there has been pulled, you can check out the lever that Fassad (well, Salsa actually) pulled earlier. It'll say "It doesn't appears to work". Or something like that. Loving the game. Although I am TERRIBLE at the whole combo deal. Even if I press the button exactly in sync with the heartbeat it never seems to work. Just how badly does the emulator screw with it?
  17. So I finally beat Earthbound! Only 13 years late for the party. You guys weren't kidding, game's awesome. I am more than ready for Mother 3.
  18. Gonna have to go with A. Although it depends on how restrictive it is, I guess. In something like Super Mario World the chances of actually dying due to the time limit are basically nil, except in a few select levels. But then, if the time limit has very little actual effect on gameplay then it shouldn't even be considered. ...So I'd say in cases where time limits are restrictive it not only prevents me from taking things slow and exploring the level, but also feels like an artificial way to make the game harder. Really tough enemies I'm fine with, as long as there is a way to beat them that doesn't require superhuman reflexes or some shit.
  19. How do you have a final tier list with a constantly changing metagame? Heh, Mewtwo's not rock bottom anymore. And oh man, Zelda is low now. Score.
  20. Ok so they ARE expansions now. Meaning the whole package won't be $150, but closer to $100. ...That's what I was gonna say, but then I remembered that the two expansions for WoW are $50 each. So yes this pretty much fucks over anyone who only wants to play the Zerg or Protoss campaign. Although why you'd want to jump into the middle of the story instead of starting at the beginning is beyond me.
  21. Uh. Why would that be? They've already said that each new "expansion" will add to the metagame of the multiplayer, which could likely include new units for all three races. It wouldn't make any sense if an owner of all three games, with all the new stuff that comes with them, to be able to play an opponent who is essentially using an outdated version. As you said Blizzard already established a precedent for this with Brood War. The only way it could work would be if the multiplayer content was released in free patches with each new game.
