good arrangement, lots of creative ideas and variation from section to section, and the cameos were well-placed and executed. i really like the trippy bit at the end the sampled instruments (esp. strings) are kinda weak and the sequencing isn't very humanistic in terms of rhythm and velocity. the mixing is a little flat too - i could go for some more low frequencies, as well as some more highs on some of the synths in the back half. as you've said, production is a bit off, but the arrangement is strong. certainly an enjoyable listen, but i'd love to hear those samples beefed up a little

regarding the bass, i'm not a fan of the distortion, and i think the mixing is a little rumbly on the low end. also, some weird instrument choices in the beginning..; that first texture isn't too cohesive, but it gets better once the beat kicks in. keep working on it

the arrangement and song structure is extremely close to the source (not to mention the exact same length), with some drum loops underneath. ending cuts off midphrase, which seems a little too strange to be intentional. can't really accurately comment on sound quality or production (for future reference, mp3's are nice ), but the synths are pretty vanilla and some of the sequencing (the lead at :55 for example) has slight timing issues. needs some more personality. don't be afraid to put more original writing in your future works
