  1. But...I have an ATI card. Even if it wasn't a scam, I'd still not qualify. Thanks for the heads-up. You always lookin out for the little guy... Hey, since you're so nice, u wanna try the Left 4 Dead beta? I got the link right here....
  2. OCReMix presents The Missingno Tracks: Special Protodome Edition (in dedication to The Damned's Memory). I love it how he's your favorite when you initially said no to having him on the project. OH SNAP!
  3. Great, so now instead of Wii-motes, we might be waggling expensive tegra-powered DS2's at the tv screen. Much easier to break a big-screen that way, and honestly, I know of one person who's used the wrist-strap on their DS/lite/i. To be honest, I really hope they don't go too much in the Wii-style area on a portable. I know all we're making now is speculation, and I'm assuming quite a lot here, but I'd much rather them upgrade the DS with this technology to a larger sceen with better touch support, possibly improved graphics, but at the very least I would expect them to continue with backwards compatibility. Glad I didn't get a DSi if it does come out next year. No, wait, I got it! A Tegra-powered VirtualBoy2! NOW WITH MORE RED.
  4. Seiken Densetsu 3 - Damn Damn Drum (I NEED INSPIRATION FOR THIS MIX! Ugh, I know what I want to do, I'm just having issues with the execution)
  5. I believe the point is to have people listen in to find out. That way more people pay attention to the less-cool parts of the show. (just kidding, the whole show is usually awesome)
  6. YESSSSS! You're just as funny over voice as you are on the forums. Wait...we actually have COVER art? I need to lurk our forums moar... Nice interview, my friend. Very nice, indeed. Edit: HOW THE HELL CAN YOU PICK FAVORITES! DA will devour your soul. She's gonna go all Zidane on your ass.
  7. I will definitely be trying to listen in. Whether or not I will be wearing clothes is up in the air, though. Wait...you're debuting two tracks? Sweet.
  8. DA sent me the link to this last night, and I gotta thank Cerrax for bringing this to attention as well. That was phenomenal.
  9. So...rocket castle in outerspace is stuck in my head, and I blame you 110%. Ridiculous, dude. Keep that crazy stuff coming!

  10. Apparently the french credit union likes "Blood on the Asphalt": http://www.ocremix.org/forums/member.php?u=30675
  11. Wes is right. I won't go into the matter any further than that at the moment. That being said, I received your file last this morning and will listen when I get the chance.
  12. Last night's compo was full of sexy loving. That was friggin' awesome.
  13. Good birthday, please refrain from dying before the next one and you'll be fine
  14. Well, considering we don't know when it will be released (though Mr. LarryTamer himself said "not this week", so we know that much), don't sweat it. Until then we wait patiently.
  15. This is the dude you told me about when we talked?! THAT KIT IS NOICE!!! You better get that collab out soon.
  16. I'm going to pretend I didn't hear this. You put the JH in OHC (the 'j' is silent...and not included in the spelling, but trust me, it's there). If this is indeed truth that you're retiring, I hope you reconsider.
  17. I'll think about letting you claim a second track after you get in a WIP for your first one. You're admitting that you already have a couple other things on your plate, so why are you opting for a second track before I see work on the first? And people can do a lot with 40 seconds of source. I wouldn't want the track done just to get it done, as that wouldn't even give the track feeling, especially at a short source length.
  18. The King AND the RoboKing are fucking douches.

  19. I changed the title thread and added a single friggin' word, HAPPY ARCANA? cause I'd like you to be.
  20. Thread-related: I was just listening to just64helpin's new album just now. Finished it not two minutes ago. I had mixed reactions again, just like with the Bad Dudes album, but this time I had many less negative ones. Honestly, I think you've substantially improved your methods of writing, and the sounds are overall better. Things still feel a little rushed, but the instrumentation is more elaborate than your previous work. I personally wanted some bigger beats with a few songs, but what was there was good. The biggest drawback is it feels like you could be doing so much more with the material you have. It's good, it's satisfying for sure, but I know you can do worlds better Bottom-line: liked it better than the Bad Dudes, Starla will be proud, but I want you to go balls-to-the-wall on the next one. I hope I didn't critique too badly, bro.
  21. Edit: This has been updated to reflect the fact that Xenogears was released yesterday (Sunday, October 18th). When FF4 was released, there was a listening party both in IRC and at my hizzle to celebrate. With Xenogears coming out soon, I think doing the same thing would be fun. So I hereby propose a Xenogears listening party, coordinated in IRC at #ocrwip, on this Friday, October 23rd, 2009, starting at around 7 PM. It was originally planned to be on the Saturday following its release, and if enough people want it back on Saturday, that would be okay. I just wouldn't be able to host it or have anyone over if it was this Saturday, so Friday is prefered for me. Also, the time was selected out of consideration to those people not in the Western Hemisphere, so that they too can join in and not have it be 3 AM that we start listening to music. If it is too early, we can change it. Hopefully this won't conflict with any other listening parties, too! I would offer to have people over if people in the area want to come over. Let me know if anyone's interested. I've seen OCR people the last two weekends, and I would like to keep this streak up, lol. P-A-R-T-Y at #ocrwip
  22. Vilecat, you must understand something about the way I think: I'm naturally just very paranoid and plan things a lot, but I do my best to keep a lid on those habits. I'm not worried about it, I was just bringing up the first things that came to mind. As with stopping pregnancy or not getting STDs, the easiest method is prevention. Wes indeed knows what he's doing, but hey, I'd rather bring something up and have it not be a problem than keep quiet. *TACKLES VILECAT* Edit: WES PLEASE MAKE EXPLANATION FOR COLOR SCHEME IN OP COLORS ARE PRETTY
  23. So some news on the project: 1) There were blog posts over on Sega Europe and Sega America Blogs about NiGHTS: Lucid Dreaming and OCReMix. They were a result of my asking the NiGHTSintodreams.com forum people for some help with a big vocal arrangement I'm working on for the project, and apparently things worked out in such a way to result in the blog posts. It was pretty crazy. Needless to say, that arrangement will end up with more-than-enough vocal parts by the time their submission cutoff date is. 2) WIP 1 deadline is slowly drawing closer, so mixers, your inboxes will get a friendly reminder sometime over the weekend to "encourage some progress" and refresh your memory on the dates. 3) Two-three potential artists and one potential web designer on board at the moment, just either waiting for their responses, first pieces of work, or for more information. 4) Yes, I will end every numbered entry with some kind of Smilie..except this one. If anyone has questions about deadlines or anything, please send me a message. If you're thinking of dropping your track, I'ma use my puppy-eyes on you
  24. You should narrate every single song. Every single one. And talk about random things, not just LoZ:LA stuff. Like, talk about mortgages and philosophy and cooking. That'd be sweet. What kind of vocals were you offering to supply?
