I think he's checking his financial situation as well as what his roomie or brother or whomever his other person is wants to do. Other than that, this seems like a nice amount of people. Wont have too big of a round robin for any game tournaments, heh. So did we decide on Friday the 25th then, or are we gonna do Thursday the 24th? -

Definitely....different than what I might been expecting, since I'm not usually exposed to this kind of stuff often, but it was quite mesmerizing and your performance seemed pretty much flawless. After the initial shock of getting used to what I was listening to, I really started to groove man. You should be extremely proud cause your sax playing is the best its ever been, and consistently making my jaw drop as I re-listen, bro. You get max nice-works: :nicework::nicework:

On my list of "movies I'd probably rather have a root canal than watch", Failure to Launch is pretty high up there. Not even MST3k guys could make that shit funny.

SO, they're turning another fighting video game into a movie... OF COURSE!!! I just hope that Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa will give some kind of entertaining performance in Tekken. I don't really hold hope for KoF. I guess if I were locked in a room and given a choice of watching "Failure to Launch" or "King of Fighters"...well, let's just see how KoF turns out, then. If anything would be a less-appealing choice than "Failure to Launch", it stinks.

Well, you should know I wasn't being serious at all about having you releasing the video, I was kind of yanking your chain, but that's actually pretty cool that they gave you permission to send it over to ziwtra. Might make for a fun view if xenogears is out at or before the meetup. Mmmm....TAUCERFest.... Oh, and Zeno Paradox is one of the sexiest tracks I've ever heard. Ever.

I wasn't trained classically and c) "the closest thing to your style we have is jazz, and that's full". Sorry about that, Towson's school of music seemed "meh" anyways. -

Wow, I did not realize how creepy I probably sounded saying that until you said something, Prophet. Thanks, now I look like a perv-douche, and people will run and hide from me forever and ever. I love the videos that come out with releases, like the one JtBR did for FF4. Always quality work.

So...you sort-of want to have any prominent melody/motif from the Lost Odyssey track strung throughout other songs then? I think that's pretty cool. Almost a subliminal message, except it's music instead of something like "EAT MORE PIE". If I'm totally not on the right track please let me know. I think that'd be quite cool to have, as a requirement, some small melody section incorporated into every song from the project's "main theme". Edit: I just re-read OP and saw the "incorporating it is fair game, talk to co-director" bit. Anyways, my pitch of an idea of having a small melody from the track in every song still stands. Just an idea!

That's pretty awesome, dude. If you don't have it on tape I will be very upset, because that'd make an awesome release clip. It'd be a first for any project: song AND dance!

Life's been fantastic. Busy as well, but productive and motivated, and I'm in that wonderful spot where I don't have absolutely everything I'm striving for but I could definitely be doing much, much worse. MD is nice, starting to get cold here though. Still too many cops and too much crime, but hey, the city's got "character".

I would still leave that to Brad, and while it's great to get outside reviews of the song if it warrants any tweeking, and is great to tease from the project, if NO ONE ELSE submitted a Zelda: LA mix, the anonymity would immediately be compromised based on what song it is. Someone could just come on here and see who did what song and boom, disqualified on bias. Then again, maybe I'm taking the wrong approach here, but I'd say that's a fine line anyone would walk...

You know, Luke actually has a point. Brad, maybe you should send out a PM to everyone involved in the project that they shouldn't release their tracks. Better to be safe than sorry, dude, if you in-fact want to keep project mixes strictly project.

What completely random things remind you of video games?

Sonic and Knuckles reminds me of head staples. This kid I know brought it over one day and he had split his head open and staples closed it shut. Kirby reminds me of getting into fights with my little brother. Bushido Blade 2 reminds me of roller blading with my friends and being general idiots. Final Fantasy VII reminds me of the Disc Doctor, because that's what I had to use to beat the game since I scratched it up so bad during the course of playing it. Final Fantasy Tactics reminds me of bronchitus. I probably played through most of it while home sick. Anything on the gamecube reminds me of an ex-girlfriend who, for the only Christmas I've ever celebrated, I bought a cube for with super monkey ball and some other games. Mortal Kombat 4 reminds me of my mother. She made me return the game after seeing me play it. But she still let me keep GTA...weird. Killer Instinct reminds me of a camp called Road Trip. They had a machine in the lobby when we waited for the bus to come and then for our parents to pick us up after, and I spent my free time honing skills with Fulgore. -
I think it's kind of funny that I signed up for the specific project forums but, apparently, y'all don't use them anymore!!! I've been dead trying to come up with my arrangement for Damn Damn Drum, cause nothing's clicking. If I don't get any actual progress by the end of next week, I may just release the track since it's doing nothing in my hands. I'd consider swapping for another in this case, but yeah, this is just a heads up. We are now entering the OCR Swamp of Projects, which gives Florida swamps a run for their money!
