  1. Kizyr - added. Luke - sorry you wont be able to join us, but hey, we still have TAUCERFest. Wes - I'd offer but I'm already straining my housemates as-is with hosting Sebastian from the 4th through the 12th of January. I hope someone else can, though, so I put you as tentative. Shaun's right though: if we can, we should have this ON Christmas. We shall see what Sir Brushfire has to say.
  2. "What an international affair! Surely this is better than all the sliced breads in all the lands."

    I fucking love you.

  3. Quoth the Brushfire "Let us gather and share Tacos on this day" and behold, it came to be: Microsoft Presents a Mountain Dew Non-Denominational Holiday Meal Special Featuring the Good Ole OCR Boys Day: Friday, December 25th Place: Brushfire's lair of tacos and love (hidden in the depths of Fort Meade, MD) Time: Taco-time (early evening til whenever, let's say around 4 PM) Why am I reading this?: Well, with all this holiday cheer and whatnot, there are those who will not have the chance or ability to celebrate certain holiday days/nights/whatever with their families. AeroZ will be making his second trip to the US ever this year for MAGFest, and is coming before Christmas and stay til mid-Jan. I never really celebrate holidays anymore, but I'm sure a reason to celebrate would be him being here and all of us getting together for some food and fun-times. Brushfire is hosting AeroZ until MAG and I figured we could all have a non-denominational holiday get-together. Avaris is also interested in joining in, so we now want to see if anyone else wants to join in. Current list of attendees: Brushfire (Host) Level 99 AeroZ Kizyr Bahamut (tentative) If you can, bring a dish, holiday-related or not. If you're interested in coming and have specific food requests due to dietary restrictions (Vegetarian/Vegan/etc.), please send me a PM. I wish you all an advanced-happy-holidays!
  4. Whatever you prefer, Sir Knight of Hug-itude. I'm looking at the calendar and see that December 25th is a Friday, right? I'm going to make a separate thread about this as well, in case any more than us four are interested (it's your place so I'll leave the guestlist choice and cutoff in your hands! Please note that you can also slip Brushfire a $50 to have your name magically appear on the list). I'd say it can be any day that weekend. I get off on Christmas Day, and I might get off the day before, but Thursday through Sunday, any day works for me. I'd prefer Friday since traffic might be easier on the DAY of Christmas as opposed to the day before. I'll tell my family I will not be having Chinese food or going to see a movie, haha!
  5. Duuuude, how did you get the Royal Knight of the Order of Remixer Huggers in your name...that's sick!

    Also, hope you're feeling better.

Edit: Oh, I do so hate you for being simply smart. Made a holiday meal thread, check it and give your input, yo.

  6. One: Theophany, that's exactly how Level 99 was. It started as four people back in the VGMix2 days, and then after a few songs I realized I was the only one really DOING anything. I didn't feel like changing the name and starting from scratch again. It's a shame, but trust me, it's probably better this way.

Two: Brad, please post your recital whenever it's ready. I really want to hear it. And, despite my fuzzy memory, two minutes is just about as bad as ten to realize the DS has two screens. You still have every right to make fun of me for that big pink body pillow regardless. Yes I still have it. Yes I still sleep with it. Yes I have sewn the holes up.

  7. Looks like he lives in Baltimore, maybe I'll track him down and give him the shakedown for more info. I'M COMING FOR YA! If it is the new TSS album, maybe I should go back and listen to TSS since I haven't in ages. Edit: I am, of course, kidding about the shakedown. I'm too lazy to come and find you.
  8. Bahamut: you REALLY need to find someone fantastic to do justice to that Lost Odyssey track. If they don't, I will quit the project...maybe.
  9. Hate me when I have WIPs from them. I'm sending out reminders to everyone sometime this week, just in case they don't check this thread...or the NiGHTS forums (if they've even registered for it yet). There's a few I have yet to hear from since their initial interest that don't have the background on OCR like some of the others, but I'm hoping no tracks are getting dropped. *crosses fingers* And don't get me started on who to hate for having who on their project!
  10. Story time with Level 99 again (I swear maybe I'll just make a thread of stories one day, that was coolstorybro will be concentrated in at least one place ) Taucer's right in the general sense about one reference, but he made it a lot less funny (well, you did!). Brad was watching someone play a DS at MAGFest, and as Taucer said, Brad had never seen one before. After ten minutes of watching someone playing it, he snaps back suddenly and yells, pretty much at the top of his lungs "OHOLY SHIT! IT HAS TWO SCREENS!!!" He legitimately didn't notice the two screens in front of him for ten minutes. We still love him anyway. Taucer, Brad's original post has to do with stuff we said in Postpicsofself thread: I said "Sooner or later, my beard will be as long as father time's, and then I will take a high-quality picture of it that will stretch across four-screens. In every direction." His response: "holy shit, it has four screens!" We're turning the forums into one big inside joke. One thread at a time. The final tracklist for this project is quite impressive, btw. What I personally enjoy, and what some others may personally despise, is that with a project that has gone on as long as this has you end up with songs made over that long period of time. You may hear something from an OCRemixer that they made before they were posted and official, and other cool things like that. Ever over the long project timeline, it shows the passion for the music was always strong.
  11. Here's an early Christmas present for ya: http://www.ocremix.org/forums/member.php?u=30572 http://www.ocremix.org/forums/member.php?u=30570 http://www.ocremix.org/forums/member.php?u=30571
  12. Is it live? or is it Memorex...I mean, is it gonna be edited and whatnot. If you're gonna have some sort of tourette's syndrome I may have to tune in just to laugh at you...out of encouragement, obviously.
  13. I used an easy bake oven to make you these cookies! They're chocolate-chip, mothafuka! But since you dissed my easy bake, I decided not to give you any.

  14. Heh, you'd have to know me and Brad to get the joke I guess. He came to me with computer questions when we first became friends, and now look at him! I closed up my little PC build shop ages ago, and his is thriving. The student has truly become the teacher... And I don't make anything really these days, besides music and semi-pointless forum posts. Actually, an on-topic question for the Prophet of Mephabio: whats your experience with the i5/i7 range, if any? I'm considering upgrading from a Core 2 Quad Q6600 and don't know if it's worth the additional price of the MB, Ram, and possibly a new PSU.
  15. Brad, I'm gonna start a rival business and steal all your customers away. FYI. :nicework:
  16. No man should only have half a mustache. And you will never know of the things we speak about in room 1308. Never.

Did your FLstudio ever fix itself?

  17. I knew that was coming, so I prepared something as an alternate. You listen to the music while enjoying a classy drink, and I'll just send you pr0nz the entire time of the listening party. It'll be like you're RIGHT THERE WITH US! I assure you: no nudity this time. That roomie is gone.
  18. I needed to change my pants at this comment. Also, just a heads-up: Whenever we find out the release date, I'll probably throw another listening party at my place/on IRC.
  19. And guess what? Avaris said he may come down here and spend the Very Nondenominational Holiday Meal with us as well. Tacos sounds fantastic, I'll bring the Non-denominational-Nog-of-Egg-based beverage.
  20. That radio thing was fun the other night. Sure there's no way in the world you can do one itty-bitty little OHC between now and next year?

  21. I'm adding a little to my list since it just hit me: Bottle of Goldschlager Some wine, probably (I'm a classy biznitch) Food (Taucer: name what you want, or if you can't pinpoint, what KIND of food you want. I will do my best to comply, as long as it isn't Caviar) Harmony: we need to start planning our trip!
  22. F4T4L also knows about some killer pinball music. Does pinball count as a video game?
